Will the Dobermans catch Magnum in the second season of the Magnum PI TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Magnum PI is cancelled or renewed for season three. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the second season episodes of Magnum PI here. *Status update below.
A CBS action-drama series, Magnum PI stars Jay Hernandez, Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Tim Kang, and Amy Hill. This reboot of the 1980s TV show follows Thomas Magnum (Hernandez), a decorated former Navy SEAL who repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator. He lives in a guest cottage on Robin’s Nest, the luxurious estate where he works as a security consultant to supplement his P.I. business. The “majordomo” of the property is Juliet Higgins (Weeks), a beautiful and commanding disavowed MI:6 agent who keeps Magnum in line. When Magnum needs back-up on a job, he turns to his trusted buddies and fellow POW survivors, chopper pilot Theodore “TC” Calvin (Hill) and Orville “Rick” Wright (Knighton), a former Marine door-gunner who now runs a nightclub. Magnum frequently has run-ins with police detective Gordon Katsumoto (Kang) and the two are more alike than either cares to admit. Teuila “Kumu” Tuileta (Hill) is one of Magnum’s biggest fans and is also the unofficial “House Mom” and cultural curator of Robin’s Nest.

Wonderful show, wonderful cast, gorgeous scenery & keep it going! The ride has got to continue (as long as the Ferraris do!) Would love to see more guest stars & crossovers too! I see mostly positive feedback from many people, & loving it!

Magnum PI is great, please keep this show! I really hate “re-makes” but the actors have made this a “must watch”. I NEVER miss it !!
Many people did not think this show was as good as it is. The original show was everyone’s favorite. But, Jay Hernandez, Persia Weeks , TC, Rick and Kasamote have definitely proven that they belong to a perfect Hawaiian drama series and have definitely served up a hit. But lets not forget Kumu. She was not in original and her addition definitely adds to the depth and lightheadedness of the show. She is the referee, and an excellent actress. Season 2 Magnum PI, episode 1 good, rate at 7, episode 2, honor among thrives, great humor good rate 8, episode 3 knight last forever excellent loved this one, gave it a 10++ really excellent cliffhanger, episode 4, dead inside good interaction Kasamoto with Magnum and Higgins, rated this one at 8. Nice all around character interaction. episode 5, make it till dawn loved Rick it was light funny and perfect for airing for Halloween, perfect 9+. a big fan of the original, but really like the originality of the reboot
I thought that the reboot of Magnum pi was not going to be good with Jay Hernandez as Magnum but I was blown away by his performance. All the cast & crew are brilliant. Love the show so much. I never miss an episode if I can help it. I pray that the show will be around for many more seasons to come.

Great show!! The writers are doing a awesome job with twist and multiple plots. Nice to see a clean show on TV that your kids can watch. Loved the original in the 80s and really didn’t think I would like the new reboot but I was so wrong. Give the show a chance it will grow on you. Please KEEP the show for season 3!!!
MagnumPI love to see the show mine on to season 3. Love to see Sellect on show as MAgnums godfather. This is 2019 going on 2020 and the new shows brings a new look and look at today. They do things differently, he’s not Sellect but he is more sensitive and that’s an awesome appeal to women. If your married you should know this, women love men who can express what they are looking for. Its a great appealing aspect. I hope they bring in a little more romance between Thomas and Higgins. I love Magnum PI Tv Show I do not want it cancelled. I can’t wait to see the next week’s show. Tv shows have so many rerun shows on it that having tv is becoming a nuisance instead of an enjoyment. The shows and the movies that are shown are on always the same ones that we can recite what comes next on the the scene. And that is very bad that tv is not something we have high on our list that we look for other options and satellite TV loses subscribers because when you watch the first week… Read more »
