Will the Dobermans catch Magnum in the second season of the Magnum PI TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Magnum PI is cancelled or renewed for season three. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the second season episodes of Magnum PI here. *Status update below.
A CBS action-drama series, Magnum PI stars Jay Hernandez, Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Tim Kang, and Amy Hill. This reboot of the 1980s TV show follows Thomas Magnum (Hernandez), a decorated former Navy SEAL who repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator. He lives in a guest cottage on Robin’s Nest, the luxurious estate where he works as a security consultant to supplement his P.I. business. The “majordomo” of the property is Juliet Higgins (Weeks), a beautiful and commanding disavowed MI:6 agent who keeps Magnum in line. When Magnum needs back-up on a job, he turns to his trusted buddies and fellow POW survivors, chopper pilot Theodore “TC” Calvin (Hill) and Orville “Rick” Wright (Knighton), a former Marine door-gunner who now runs a nightclub. Magnum frequently has run-ins with police detective Gordon Katsumoto (Kang) and the two are more alike than either cares to admit. Teuila “Kumu” Tuileta (Hill) is one of Magnum’s biggest fans and is also the unofficial “House Mom” and cultural curator of Robin’s Nest.

Magnum PI favorite of husband and myself. Refreshing, interesting characters, seems more real than most shows. Really miss it. Do not enjoy MacGyver much. Please put this show back on. It is the best of any show we have seen in a long time. Beautiful scenery, beautiful cars, interesting story lines, great stars. Please do not combine it with Hawaii Five-O.
Magnum pi is my favorite tv show. Look forward to it every week. Much better writing than 5-0, this show has great potential to develop his character, and Higgins! Come on!
I’ve been waiting for new episodes of Magnum but McGyver is on…I’m not happy!
I have to add my name to the list of people who are disappointed to find MacGyver on instead of Magnum. I also miss it.
My Friday nites are disappointing w/out
sharing them with Jay Hernandez! He
ranks way up there as #1 on the Friday
night dramas list, so sad!!
Enjoyed the show and now found it may be cancelled. Very disappointing! When I attempted to watch last week and I found McGyver on instead I was really disappointed. Please bring back Magnum!!
After a few episodes I decided it was unfair to compare it to the original. Then I viewed it
as a series unto itself and found it to be something special on its own.
I enjoyed Magnum PI I haven’t recorded every
series so I don’t miss it.
I really enjoyed the last two shows the one with the The crossover with the Hawaii Five-O. Very enjoyable should have more of them stop.

Look forward to it every week. Lots of action but great characters and morals. Not too much graphic violence or sex scenes. Just enjoyable fun. Jay Hernandez is good looking and a pleasure to watch…relatable character.
