School is out. Netflix has cancelled the Mr. Iglesias TV show so, there won’t be a third season for this multi-camera comedy series.
Created by Kevin Hench, Mr. Iglesias stars Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Sherri Shepherd, Jacob Vargas, Maggie Geha, Richard Gant, Cree Cicchino, Fabrizio Guido, and Tucker Albrizzi. In the comedy, Iglesias plays a good-natured public high school teacher who works at his alma mater in Long Beach, California. He takes on teaching gifted-but-misfit kids to not only save them from being “counseled out” by a bully bureaucrat Assistant Principal, but also to help them unlock their full potential. In his private life, he recently quit drinking alcohol and regularly attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
The series launched in June 2019 with 10 half-hour episodes. The show was renewed for a second season of 11 episodes which were released in June and December 2020. There won’t be a third season for Mr. Iglesias but Netflix has reportedly made a deal with its star to film a third comedy special this summer.
The streaming service has also dropped comedies Bonding, Country Comfort, and The Crew.
So disappointed. This was a great show. Very relatable and funny. The cast was enjoyable to watch and interact with each other appeared genuine. Netflix got this one totally WRONG!
Very Frustrating. Mr Iglesias and Julie & the Phantums were my 2 favorite shows on Netfilx. And J&tP still hasn’t been renewed after a long time of waiting. Netflix is running out of things worth watching.
The season 3 is already on Netflix isbthe one with the school dance at the end. Fake news lol. Before posting something like this do your research.

Reconsider! This is a great show in the middle of the pandemic I was thumbing through Netflix something I would normally not do. I came across Hamilton, Bridginton, and Mr. Iglesias this helped me through it. The show was very uplifting and funny. We need more things to show people to care about other. I really like the cast too!
Mr iglesis was the best show on netflix. It got me through a quarantined day in ireland when I was there with a group at the start of the pandemic
Don’t understand when you have a great show that is funny, has a good meaning behind it, plus a talent of stars , why cancel it, we are still in a pandemic, people need laughter, it also teaches teens the daily responsibilities and the learning is a key tool .
This was one of my favorite shows . So sad. Racially balanced with intelligent agenda . Future for Gabe but dump the others. Not right
This is the ONLY show I would let my children watch. It was clean comedy with life lesson.
Well, I feel confident in cancelling my Netflix subscription now.
This article is a lie there is a season 3 on Netflix
As the article notes, Netflix released the second season in two parts. Netflix released three “parts” but they are part of two seasons.
I am very bummed Mr. Iglesias was canceled.
I really enjoyed this show. Netflix needs to stop cancelling shows.
I actually enjoyed the clean and fun show. I guess that is to much to ask for from tv or Netflix anymore.
