It’s going to be a little harder for fans of NCIS: Los Angeles to find their TV show this season. CBS has moved the series to Sunday nights, an evening when start times are often delayed because of football game overruns. How will this move affect the ratings? Will the series be cancelled or renewed for a ninth season? Stay tuned.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/15 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: The seventh season of NCIS: Los Angeles averaged a 1.32 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 8.63 million total viewers.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you still like the NCIS: Los Angeles TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for season nine on CBS?
3/23 update: CBS has renewed NCIS: Los Angeles for a ninth season for 2017-18. Details here.

It..interesting episodes n educational which is happening in today’s society.. Keep it on please
I think the the show is one of the best on television, I still watch the reruns on late night. I really hope that they do not cancel it, yes it has been a pain with the Football games but I just tape everything after the air time and I am able to watch the full episode. I tape it all the time as it is, I don’t like Comericals.
Renew! Love Deeks and Hetty!
RIP Mr Ferrar.
I think it should be renewed – not only a great program it would also prevent yet another “reality” or another “sit com” that make fun of the less (or over) educated
I definitely think it should be renewed. I’ve been a fan since the beginning of the show. Love the characters, they have great chemistry and work well with each other. The plots are unique and always keep me in suspense wanting to see more. DON’T CANCEL IT!
Keep it on
Want NCIS -Sunday to have a renewed season next year. The plots are unique and the cast works well together.
NCIS:LA is the only show I never miss.. Love the writing & actor rapport.
Looks like the shows with a negative rating are those shows that are delayed because of a late football game?
We love Ncis LA. The cast chemistry this season is phenomenal!!! Love that Nell and Eric!!!
My favorite of all the NCIS shows.
Definitely should stay on. My husband and I love it.
i’m glad ratings are good for this season compared to last season which means we will more than likely get another season.
Compared to a lot of other cbs shows ncis la has good ratings eight seasons in they’re doing good in 18-49 demo which is also great if they keep ratings like this for the whole season we are guaranteed to get a 9th season.
