TV show description:
This crime drama follows a presumed dead former-CIA agent named John Reese (Jim Caviezel) who teams up with a mysterious billionaire, Mr. Finch (Michael Emerson), who’s also believed to be dead. Their goal is to prevent violent crimes by using technology and their own brand of vigilante justice.
Finch is a software genius who has invented a program that uses pattern recognition to identify people who are about to be involved in violent crimes — either the victim or the perpetrator. It was originally built for the government to prevent another 9/11 disaster but found that it was predicting less catastrophic, “irrelevant” crimes. Finch built a “backdoor” into the machine so that, before erasing the “irrelevant” data each night, Finch is sent the social security number of a person about to be involved in a serious crime.
Finch recruits Reese because of his special training in covert operations. Using their combined skills, resources and advanced surveillance technology, they work outside of the law to identify “persons of interest” and stop crimes before they occur.
Reese’s actions draw the attention of the NYPD — including homicide detectives Carter (Taraji P. Henson) and Fusco (Kevin Chapman). The latter is a corrupt cop and Reese blackmails him into being a source of information inside the department.
With infinite crimes to investigate, Reese and Finch find that locating the right person, with the right information, at the right time, can change everything.
Episode #103 — Return 0
Finch, Reese, Fusco and Shaw embark on one last mission to prevent Samaritan from destroying The Machine and cementing its hold over mankind.
First aired: June 21, 2016.
What do you think? Do you like the Person of Interest TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a sixth season?

I am so disappointed the show has been awesome!! Please bring it back, I really love the actors I hope they are at least on new shows
What was this writer thinking with the vulgar act almost like porn. You took a great show and turned it into porn with the 2 girls. I will never watch this show again. very disappointed …..
I am disappointed this show is being cancelled. Several shows I watch are suddenly being taken off. I agree with other viewers, there are too many reality shows and not enough good series to watch anymore.
Given Jim Caviezel’s spirituality, which i admire and concur with, I cannot believe he was ok with the Root/Shaw coupling so graphically depicted. This show was smart, sophisticated, humorous and yet moral. a pity that scene was written and acted. Do all TV writers feel compelled to insert this into a show? I think Jim Caviezel will be fine with extricating himself from the show now that it has descended to this disgusting level. Loved this show until now.
I am tired of finding out that the shows I consistently watch are being canceled. I think that the stations are discriminating against their older viewers as their demographics are usually between 18-49 years olds.
I find it too common to see ideas start out so good only to watch them fall so far. couldn’t watch “root and shaw” . There is very little talent in the entertainment world that has any interest in good family entertainment. Where are the heroes?
Why cancel a good show
Keep this show going. one of very few I watch instead of a safari. losing viewers due to crappy shows you put on
Can you please keep this series and get rid of the Reality shows. I love this show. Please keep it going…… More and more good shows are cancelling, soon there will be no use for T.V.
This last episode ,too much political correctness.Didn’t watch it as soon as “the agenda was revealed ‘Root and Shaw'”. Stopped watching Blindspot for the same reason.Every *** show- brainwashing.Lack of creativity !
It is a real temptation not to watch these series at all, given the executive decisions to cancel them, usually with no end to the story. At least the actors get paid. This was a wonderful series, and frankly it is better to watch it on DVD, without the commercials. Then you can get a grasp of the scope of the story. Just infuriating that it was cancelled.
These writers did the same as Red John did to the Mentalist. Took a good show to watch and made it uncomfortable to watch. I think there is a “Red John Syndrome” going on in Hollywood. Why can’t you let a show be about what made it good in the first place. Quit messing them up. We will only watch so many Great Races and Survivors. I am beginning to think that is all the networks wants, cheap television and no talent.
How can they possibly keep all those horrible shows on the air and cancel “Person of Interest”? Who got paid off?
Outstanding series. I looked fwd to watching it every season. I am sadden to hear it has been cancelled
This is one of the best contemporary science fiction shows on TV. Are advertising revenues down? What are the ratings? Or is this another one of those “we’re not reaching the correct demographic” claims they are so fond of stating?
This is one of my favorite shows. Don’t cancel …..please.
