Pitch is a new FOX pilot currently in development, but there is already a behind-the-scenes shakeup making news. Elisabeth Shue was cast on the series recently, but she has already departed the series, according to Deadline.

Shue has been replaced by Ali Larter, who is best known for her role on Heroes. Deadline shared more details about Shue’s departure:

“Larter, who will play sports agent Amelia Slater, replaces Elisabeth Shue who was originally cast in the role. The decision came after the pilot’s table read and followed creative changes made to the Amelia character over the past week. Upon seeing the character’s evolution, with the final version of Amelia different from the woman she signed on to play, I hear Shue asked out, and she and the producers parted ways amicably.”
