What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, The Resident stars Matt Czuchry, Emily VanCamp, Manish Dayal, Moran Atias, Merrin Dungey, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Melina Kanakaredes, and Bruce Greenwood. The medical drama centers on Dr. Devon Pravesh (Dayal), a newly minted resident, as well as Senior Resident Dr. Conrad Hawkins (Czuchry), and their colleagues at the Chastain Park Memorial Hospital. Although its motto is, “Committed to excellence,” the hospital is staffed with human beings, and humans are flawed. Now that Devon is on the other side of the institution’s velvet ropes, Conrad wants him to understand the reality of medicine and its delivery.

Will FOX cancel or renew The Resident for season two? Other than the special premiere, the ratings haven’t been very good. My gut tells me to put on my eating pants and prepare fans for the prospect of cancellation but FOX has lots of ratings woes so it could be renewed. PLEASE, PLEASE keep the show! It has so many directions it could go and we all love it! I have already sat through 3 shows I loved and they were cancelled and we were left with no answers, please don’t let this happen again.

Love this new Medical drama. Whenever I see a new Medical drama on tv, I wonder how the writers can put a new spin on the dozens of other medical dramas out there. The cast of the Resident is excellent. The writing is awesome. This is one show that I really love and give it two up! Please do not cancel this show! It’s a true gem!

It is one of the best shows I have seen in a long long time.. the cast ais great.. the stories are interesting even if your not in the medical.foeld..many of.is can relate to bad bosses and scheming bosses and colleagues, and good friendship? I time in and dvr it.its a.greatshow.. I hope it has many seasons!!!
