Ryan Gosling took over the hosting duties on Saturday Night Live on NBC over the weekend, but his episode was missing one skit. A spoof of the 90s sitcom Family Matters was cut from the broadcast, but the skit was released on Hulu for the world to see.
During the less than five-minute skit, Gosling is playing a teen boy, and his family has to deal with the nerdy neighbor next door. After the father talks down to the nerdy neighbor, he decides to build a device that will turn him into a cool guy.
The device is a success, and the nerd is gone. However, the skit takes an upsetting turn by the end, and it might be the reason the skit was canned from the episode. It has been reported by Zap2It that the skit was cut from the episode because of time.
Check out the skit for yourself below. Would you have wanted the skit included in the broadcast of Saturday Night Live? Tell us what you think.
I watched the “cut” segment. I see nothing remarkable about it. The notion that the skit may have been ommited due to time constraints seems plausible. No big deal, my opinion, thanks …
Ugh! I’m sure glad they left it out. It was a much better show without it.
