What’s This TV Show About?
An CBS action-adventure drama, SWAT stars Shemar Moore, Stephanie Sigman, Alex Russell, Jay Harrington, Lina Esco, Peter Onorati, David Lim, and Patrick St. Esprit. The crime thriller centers on Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson (Moore). A lifetime Los Angeles local and former Marine, Hondo has been tapped to lead a new “last stop” Special Weapons and Tactics unit. Thanks to his background, he is uniquely qualified to lead the team in a manner that also builds a bridge to the community he holds so dear. Hondo’s group includes the seasoned David “Deacon” Kay (Harrington), newcomer Jim Street (Russell), and canine trainer Christina “Chris” Alonso (Esco). They work under the supervision of L.A. Metro Captain Jessica Cortez (Sigman), a dedicated professional who also has a personal connection to Hondo. Meanwhile, Mumford (Onorati) leads a rival unit.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of SWAT averaged a 0.78 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.30 million viewers. Compared to season one, it is down by 17% and 10%, respectively. Find out how SWAT stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will CBS cancel or renew SWAT for season three? The ratings aren’t great but they’ve been pretty consistent. CBS needs newer dramas to help fill their schedule so I think it will be renewed. Swat is the best action show on tv! Do not cancel it. Top notch actors and great story lines. We never miss it but if something happens our DVR is set to record it.

I want swat to come back there is to many reality shows that they stuck there was to much good shows cancelled the brave salvation deception take two and others soon we do not have any more good shows in tv
SWAT is definitely one of the top shows on TV.
Seems to me they keep canceling great shows like this and adding more retarded reality shows.
If this show is cancelled they should have their heads read.

This show would be better if Hondo the Hero would let the other members naturally be in the spotlight. SWAT is a team not a one man Super Hondo show. Actor should go back to chill character mode on Criminal Minds; Apply his intellect and not be the Hero ALL THE TIME or the smartest guy too!
