TV show description:
Based on ABC‘s 1970s TV series and the 2003 feature film of the same name, the SWAT TV show on CBS is a police action drama centering on Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson (Moore). A lifetime Los Angeles local and former Marine, Hondo has been tapped to lead a new “last stop” Special Weapons and Tactics unit.
Because he is L.A.-born and raised, Hondo feels intensely loyal to his “brothers in blue” and the people they serve. This makes him exceptionally qualified to lead the team and build a bridge between the force and the community.
David “Deacon” Kay (Harrington) is a seasoned, competent officer. Although he can’t help but feel overlooked for the top job, he is extremely loyal and committed to the team’s success. On the other hand, newcomer Jim Street (Russell) tends to be overconfident. Still, he has the potential to become a key player.
Hondo’s tactical unit also includes canine trainer Christina “Chris” Alonso (Esco), a skilled officer in her own right. Then there is Dominique Luca (Johnson), whose driving expertise ensures the team is able to get into and out of risky scenarios.
L.A. Metro Captain Jessica Cortez (Sigman), whose profession is her top priority, supervises the SWAT team. She and Hondo also have a personal relationship.
Finally, there’s Mumford (Onorati). Bold and self-assured, he heads up another L.A. unit and is certain of his own approach to situations. Although his group and Hondo’s are fierce rivals, they relish their competition.
With Hondo at the lead, the SWAT officers are devoted to their jobs and are willing to lay down their lives to protect and serve.

I love this show. Hard! The diversity, the realness of current events, the screen time each character gets. The respect given to the integrity and dedication of real SWAT and their knowledge of battle is incredible to watch. CBS please leave them alone and let them play on
Please don’t cancel. I love this show and it is one of a very few I watch. Too much drama on other shows that I don’t care to see.

Love the show, hope it’s renewed for another season. Hondo’s not bad to look at and his crew works well together. Very entertaining.
SHE MAR IS THE BEST OF TV IN THE LAST 30 YEARS, THIS SHOW IS FANTASTIC, I LOVE everything about this show. It’s like watching a major motion action movie every week. Please keep it on the air for many years to come. Congrats to all who make this show , the best action cop show on the air today.

This is not my favorite show. I loved him in Criminal Minds but his acting has gone down hill since then. The side stories are boring. Most of the time after 10 minutes I turn it off.
Great show! I continue to stay interested, which is good. I love the story lines of the SWAT team. In every episode, you learn new things about each of them. Keep up the good work and don’t CANCEL the show. It’s awesome!
Just watched the Pilot episode on Foxtel in Australia. I was undecided until the SWAT Theme music at the end. I’ll be back for another episode
I would like to see it renewed for another season, several shows that did not do good in their first season went on to be some of the best shows that have ever been on TV. I like the action and the SWAT vechiles that they use in the show.
I love S.W.A.T it’s. Great action packed drama can’t wait till Thursday nights !! I think it should go on another season and another and keep on going !
