What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, Taken stars Clive Standen as a young, but still lethal Bryan Mills. The cast also includes Jennifer Beals, Adam Goldberg, and Jessica Camacho. This prequel series to the Liam Neeson feature film trilogy centers on Mills, as he and his team undertake rescue missions around the globe.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Taken is averaging a 0.38 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.52 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 62% and 51%, respectively. Find out how Taken stacks up against other NBC TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will NBC cancel or renew Taken for season three? Based on the US broadcasts, it was likely to be cancelled after one season. However, the show’s success overseas played into its continuation, so we’ll have to wait and see if that holds true, again — with much lower US ratings this time around. For now though, I’ll keep an eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for free alerts on any Taken cancellation or renewal news.
4/18/18 update: NBC pulled and cancelled the Taken TV show. The final episodes will start airing on May 26, 2018.

There’s got to be a season 3 Surely they can’t leave it like that.
I really enjoyed this show. Watched both series multiple times. Seriously bummed there won’t be a season 3. Hopefully Netflix buys the rights and continues it.

Hi I have never written a review on a series or movie-but my husband and I have viewed both seasons in a marathon session.
All episodes watched in a week! What a wonderful show-with “doing the right thing” theme was always in the forefront
Can’t believe there won’t be a season three
Some one needs to rethink this decision.
I watched it on Netflix and loved it.
An absolute disappointment to cancel a terrific show like “TAKEN” and not continue with Season 3. It’s mind-boggling to me as to why certain series stay on popular networks and those truly watch worthy are canceled. Another great series cut too short.
Taken should have a season 3. The show was awesome.
What a shame it’s not going to have a 3rd season. How do they know who likes anything? They never asked me. There are several shows I thought were the best shows ever made and then they cancel the season. I love Madame Secretary watch it be cancelled. Person of Interest was awesome. Longmire, Designated Survivor are just a few. Every time I find a great series they get cancelled, and some stupid awful sitcoms or series goes on forever. I have never voted or wrote something on a show or movie, but this show was good enough to take the time to say to bad it was a great show. I watched it in all in 2 days. What a shame.
Donna, right on! This show was awesome! I loved this version of Bryan mills more than Neeson (even though I loved his fighting). Christina (former x wife of Dr Cal Lightman, a show that should never have been cancelled) etc… Cast is awesome! They don’t care about the viewers who really are invested – it’s all ratings based on analytics. Sucks!
Was very disappoined to hear that Taken tv series was cancelled. Hopefully they will decide to bring it back. I want to know what happens next! Maybe even add a couple more team members?? Fingers crossed!!
Yet another stupid decision to cancel a good show. Maybe they should have tried moving it to a different night or time before taking it off. I watched from the beginning and was so excited to have another show that was good to watch.
