The Talk is losing a key player. According to The Hollywood Reporter, co-host Aisha Tyler is leaving the CBS TV show ahead of season eight.
Tyler joined the daytime chat show in it second season. The series’ other co-hosts include Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, and Sheryl Underwood. The show, which premiered in 2010, features the hosts discussing current events, pop culture, family, celebrity gossip, and other trending topics.
During a recent episode of The Talk, Tyler revealed she will be leaving the show at the end of the current season. In her announcement, she explained that she’s too busy to continue with the CBS series. Watch Tyler’s emotional goodbye below:

I lost interest in The Talk a couple of years ago and never really had any desire to return to the show.
It’s a great show and we will miss Aisha but I will definitely continue to watch. I am so glad that these ladies don’t dwell on all the political stuff as other programs do…as an audience, we look forward to the uplifting topics they discuss. I wish Aisha much good luck as she does what she feels that she needs to do and I am so thankful that her co-hosts understand her decision and won’t be bashing her behind her back. I’m delighted that she has been given she a great opportunity. Her tearful announcement brought the rest of her coworkers also to tears. I will continue to watch the show and glad she will stop by occasionally. I like the entire group of ladies and her absence will not deter me from continuing to watch the show.
