Is The Alec Baldwin Show over for good? ABC just announced they’ve dropped the TV show from their Saturday slot.
The talk show features Baldwin as he conducts one-on-one interviews with American pop culture luminaries. Previous guests have included Kate McKinnon and Jerry Seinfeld.
The future already looked grim for The Alec Baldwin Show when ABC moved it to Saturday nights. Now, the network has completely dropped the freshman series’ final two episodes from its schedule.
While ABC has not announced an official cancellation, ratings for The Alec Baldwin Show have been low, averaging a .24 rating in the 18-49 demo and 1.361 million viewers. It seems like only a matter of time now before ABC formally ends the series.

Look for repeats of “The Rookie” (January 5) and “A Million Little Things” (January 12) to fill the time period until NBA coverage takes over the night on January 19.”

I really enjoyed this show. Good questions and not hyped. I didn’t notice that much Trump bashing. I am so sorry it’s being discontinued. It is a good idea having more time to talk with guests instead of all those short conversations that just start getting good when it’s cut off.

Exactly! Just because my President contradicts himself constantly and acts like a child, how dare anyone make fun of him? That’s just wrong. We should respect him and do anything he tells us to do.
