CBS canceled The Equalizer, FBI: Most Wanted, and FBI: International in recent weeks, and the woman in charge of CBS has now spoken out about the decisions to end these three shows.
CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach spoke about the three shows during Wednesday’s new CBS 2025-26 schedule announcement. She said the following, according to Deadline:
“It’s not easy to end shows and we had a lot of options this year. The schedule is really full and so we always have to look at all of our shows, look at the aggregate information, the creative of where they are in their life cycle, what the finances look like, what the ratings are, and then we make those tough decisions.
“We love working with Dick Wolf and we’re so excited to bring CIA onto the schedule. We have to be fiscally responsible and ultimately, those deals and the shows just weren’t penciling out for us from an economic perspective. But we want to be in the business with Dick. We’re excited to launch a new two-hour block next season.”
FBI and CIA will join CBS’ Monday schedule next season alongside the final season of The Neighborhood and the new arrival DMV.
What do you think? Were you upset by the cancellations of The Equalizer, FBI: Most Wanted, and FBI: International? Which show will you miss the most?

Bring back The Equalizer.
Big mistake taking off the Equalizer and SWAT. Two good shows. Yet, they renew Fire Country, and NCIS Origins which I can’t understand.
I would miss The Equalizer and the FBI.
Really enjoyed Equalizer
Why is C BS getting rid of shows the fans like. The Equilizer & FBI International & FBI Most Wanted are three of the best shows on today. Why don’t you for once think about the fans of the shows & not the money!
CBS SUCKS. Every good show they cancel and then try awful new shows. It’s absurd.. I don’t watch much CBS anymore.

The CIA show wasn’t going anywhere. They could sit on it for another year, to see if one of the existing shows ratings started down.
I don’t think CBS takes into ratings consideration the fact that a lot of viewers only watch DVRed versions of these shows, and NOT the live versions. Commercials mostly SUCK, and nearly 100% of what I watch is Commercial free. I absolutely loved FBI night, with ALL three shows. Come on CBS, get with the 21st century and COUNT EVERYONE WATCHING!
I think they should fire her! Save money by her salary and perks and keep the theee shows. Get rid of all those ridiculous reality shows for mindless people.
I’ve gotten to the point where I really really really dislike Amy, the new woman in charge at CBS now and all her crappy decisions concerning all the great shows she is cancelling left and right!!!!! Some with good ratings so she can’t use that as her excuse. I am still hopping mad about the canceling of Blue Bloods.. And I blame CBS for putting her in charge to be able to do so too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At this point they are about out of all the shows I watched on that channel and to say I am very leery of starting… Read more »
I’m still mad about NCIS Hawaii being canceled with such good ratings. They make their changes no matter what the viewers want. I stopped watching CBS. Why get invested in a show?
Why introduce a new show like CIA and cancel the other good shows like the FBI’s that have great ratings?? That doesn’t make sense!! Stupid move!
FBI Most Wanted was getting much better with the new current cast
Terrible decision FBI shows with the cast change has really been a good thing.. now they are gone
Big mistake to end the 2 fbi shows.
