The Grinder rests. Hot off his recent cameo on the FOX sitcom, the network has released a clip of Timothy Olyphant in a fake spin-off of the show-within-a-show, The Grinder: New Orleans.
Olyphant recently guest starred on the Thanksgiving episode of The Grinder, in which he played a hot shot colleague of Rob Lowe’s actor character Dean Sanderson, Jr.
FOX’s freshman series is hopefully doing better than the fictional The Grinder: New Orleans. Since its September premiere, the show has held fairly consistent middle-range ratings. And it’s already been ordered for a full season.
Take a look a the clip below:

What do you think? Do you watch The Grinder? Would you watch a real-life The Grinder: New Orleans?
I watch The Grinder, and would DEFINITELY watch ANYTHING with Timothy Olyphant!!!!
I thought by the title this was real; what a bummer to find out it’s not. Timothy Olyphant first caught my eye in the dark comedy “Go” so I know he can do comedy and it’d be great to see him in a comedy after the long-running, excellent series “Justified.” Anyway, hope to see him in something else soon!
Yes, if it was real, I’d watch it! Love Timothy Olyphant and it’d be nice to see him in a comedic role after the excellent Justified series.
You indicated that the The Grinder: New Orleans is up and running since Sep. Where is it? You don’t show it on your show list. You only show the lame Grinder comedy. Thanks
Bob R
How can you not like The Grinder?? It’s the funniest show on US television.
You don’t really get jokes, do you?
