The Kids Are Alright stars Michael Cudlitz, Mary McCormack, Sam Straley, Caleb Foote, Sawyer Barth, Christopher Paul Richards, Jack Gore, Andy Walken, and Santino Barnard. The 1970s-period comedy centers on the Clearys, an Irish-Catholic family living on the outskirts of Los Angeles. Since its the ’70s, Peggy (McCormack) and Mike (Cudlitz) are raising their kids with a lack of supervision which might stun today’s parents, and now their eldest son wants to quit the seminary to go “save the world.” The times they are a-changing, and the Cleary family is not immune to the turbulence around them.
Airing on Tuesday nights, the first season of The Kids Are Alright is averaging a 0.87 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.15 million viewers.
Out of the 21 scripted ABC TV shows of the 2018-19 season, The Kids Are Alright is in 11th place in the demo and 10th place in total viewership.

The Kids Are Alright should be renewed. It’s a lot better than that stupid Blackish or Mixed-ish. I know, your ratings are probably better, but I didn’t see any need for more advertising through the kids are alright. I personally love the show, haven’t missed an episode
I was looking so forward to the new season, I didn’t see it advertised yet and was very disappointed when I heard of the cancellation. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels the same. Please reconsider. Thank you.
TKAA was great. Some episodes might have been better had the writing been sharper. The great hope is resurrection on cable or streaming.

The Kids are Alright was my favorite sitcom. The writing was so sharp and funny. I really wish they’d bring it back.
This was one of the best shows to come along in years. My Family streams the first season constantly on hulu. It gets funnier each time you watch it with it’s fast and never ending whip smart humor and great acting.
Who makes these decisions? No one ever asks me! Very disappointed this great show is cancelled. It’s the reality shows that should be gone

My family loves watching this show together and we all have are favorite character on the show. I know of other people that love watching this show just like my family. Watching this show brings back memories to my wife and I of our childhood. Overall this is a fantastic comedy for people of all ages.
