TV show description:
From creator and star, Seth MacFarlane, The Orville TV show is a live-action space adventure, set 400 years in the future. The story centers on the crew of a mid-level exploratory spaceship, The U.S.S. Orville.
In 2417, Ed Mercer (MacFarlane) is promoted to captain the Orville, with the assistance of First Officer Kelly Grayson (Palicki). Unfortunately, she’s his ex-wife, and her presence acts as a bridle on his enthusiasm.
Dr. Claire Finn (Jerald); helmsman Gordon Malloy (Grimes); Lt. Commander Bortus (Macon); his mate, Klyden (Coleman); security officer Alara Kitan (Sage); navigator John LaMarr (Lee); and A.I. life-form Isaac (Jackson) round out the crew. Whether facing off with the Krill, a dangerous alien race, or attempting rescues on behalf of the Planetary Union, these humans and aliens still must deal with their mundane issues and each other.

I am a senior citizens and started watching the original star trek with Spock and James T Kirk. I have watched all of the shows to date; 2nd generation, voyager,
and Deep Space 9. I Like the Orville it has the right spirit and it is fun to watch. Please Keep It A Very Long Time!!

Me and my husband LOVE this show and it should be kept going. Awesome comedy and we love the theme.
Knowing the adult humor that MacFarlane is known for, the Orville show was politically challenging the daily issues we all face. ETs and equality issues, subtle humor. The show became my high point of the weeks entertainment. I would understand if prime time cannot handle the show but like other MacFarlane shows, a late night show would work for me. The Family Guy Star War Trilogy is still my favorite and thanks to Hulu and Netflix, I can still watch these three favorites and hope that the team comes up with other film satires.
This is one of the best comedy/dramas on TV. The ensemble cast is excellent!!
The mixture of light heartedness and seriousness makes The Orville the best series since Star Trek. It definitely should continue.
This show is great. To me it is a satire of Star Trek. The cast is perfect for their roles. I like the jokes that are mixed in the show. Just what I would expect from Seth MacFarlane. Please don’t cancel the show. Seems like every time I find a show that I like, it gets cancelled.
