TV show description:
From creator and star, Seth MacFarlane, The Orville TV show is a live-action space adventure, set 400 years in the future. The story centers on the crew of a mid-level exploratory spaceship, The U.S.S. Orville.
In 2417, Ed Mercer (MacFarlane) is promoted to captain the Orville, with the assistance of First Officer Kelly Grayson (Palicki). Unfortunately, she’s his ex-wife, and her presence acts as a bridle on his enthusiasm.
Dr. Claire Finn (Jerald); helmsman Gordon Malloy (Grimes); Lt. Commander Bortus (Macon); his mate, Klyden (Coleman); security officer Alara Kitan (Sage); navigator John LaMarr (Lee); and A.I. life-form Isaac (Jackson) round out the crew. Whether facing off with the Krill, a dangerous alien race, or attempting rescues on behalf of the Planetary Union, these humans and aliens still must deal with their mundane issues and each other.

Absolutely fantastic series! Definitely deserves another season! Every single episode is better than the last! Each week I think there’s no way the cast and crew can top that. And they prove me wrong every single time.

Good mid comedy show if you know your Star Terk
A decent weekday night sci-fi show , which can be especially fun if you are familiar with the original TV series.

Well, I give up. The show was pretty good; slightly humorous SciFi. Good mix. They must have hired some girl writers for the second season – throw in some romance and PC garbage … and some gay stuff. Who needs it?
I enjoy the show as we need more as these Sci-fi shows. Would like a little more drama and suspense please.
IMHO it’s the best show on TV right now.
The 1st season was pretty good. An awesome spoof of Star Trek … Now, it’s just become uber-liberal preaching. Weird for FOX, but … Eh …. I won’t be watching the rest of the season. I doubt it’ll make it into a 3rd season.
Good quirky show, Written to play to a younger generation. Renew the show. Showing programs with a central progressive themes, important to young adults, is an important exception to the rule in the American Television Industry.
OMG really Star Trek was a serious show, had great actors & acting. Shows how far we have come as humans.

I LOVE IT. GREAT SCI-FI SPOOF.
I don’t see it as a spoof. To me it is a straight up sci fi show in the same vein as Star Trek: The Next Generation or Guardians of the Galaxy. Maybe a little more comedy than those, but tackling the same issues.
Please keep it up. I enjoy it every week.
