Is the third season of FOX’s The Resident TV show just what the doctor ordered? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether TV shows are cancelled or renewed. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the third season episodes of The Resident here. *Status update below.
A FOX medical drama, The Resident stars Matt Czuchry, Bruce Greenwood, Manish Dayal, Emily VanCamp, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Jane Leeves, and Morris Chestnut. The series follows a group of doctors at Chastain Memorial Hospital, as they face personal and professional challenges on a daily basis. Although its motto is, “Committed to excellence,” the hospital is staffed with human beings, and humans are flawed. In the third season, the doctors are surrounded by new rules and physicians, as Red Rock Mountain Medical takes over the hospital. The staff includes senior resident internist Conrad Hawkins (Czuchry), resident internist Devon Pravesh (Dayal), nurse practitioner Nicolette Nevin (VanCamp), surgical resident Mina Okafor (Wilson), cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. AJ Austin (Warner), orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Kit Voss (Leeves), neurosurgeon Dr. Barrett Cain (Chestnut), and CEO Dr. Randolph Bell (Greenwood).

Fabulous show! Watch in Hulu, no commercials, can pause, and don’t miss anything if phone rings, etc. PLEASE, PLEASE do not cancel this show. The actors are up there with those from ER.

I really hope you renew the residents for another season. All three season have left me on my toes and theres so much drama and makes it so exciting. I have been in love with this series since the very first episode. I love Conrad and Nic and I love all the other characters. At first I thought Bell was a bad guy but turns out hes not I actually like him now, so this series has a lot of turn arounds but at least its not predictable. This is my favorite show… Please Do Not cancel this I would be crushed. I’m in the healthcare field and I’m learning so much for the show. I even watch it on Hulu.
I.worked in the medical field for 40 years. The Resident is the best medical show I have had the privilege of viewing. Thanks for the show and hope you decide to keep it going.

The Resident probably lost viewers when it changed nights. Advertise so people know when it’s on. You’ll get them back and more to boot! This is my favorite show on TV!!!!

Finally a show that shows nurses in strong characters
Anyone who has been in the hospital, or has had someone there, knows nurses are the best.
Compassion, knowledge, and willing to do what’s needed
bring in more attorney shows drop the make believe medical and cop shows and also less fantasy and anime. not worth my time
you keep shows pertaining to 15-20 yr old who don’t watch TV
Love this show! The problem I have is the switch to Tuesday @ 8PM. Should still be on Mondays and follow up with 911. You can forget the other 911 – Longhorn, not the best. Please renew!
