What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC drama, The Village stars Warren Christie, Michaela McManus, Lorraine Toussaint, Frankie Faison, Jerod Haynes, Dominic Chianese, Darren Kagasoff, Grace Van Dien, and Moran Atias. The story centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least. Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.

Will NBC cancel or renew The Village for season two? I think it could go either way. Right out of the gate, the ratings weren’t very good, especially for a series that followed NBC’s This Is Us drama. However, the ratings remained pretty consistent and saw some improvement when it was moved to an earlier timeslot. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. There should absolutely be a second season of the village! It is so well written and captures struggles and victories that people experience in real life.
Please don’t cancel The Village, I love love love this show and all it’s characters!!!!! We need to know if Patricia is ok, if baby Cooper is good, and Enso gets married.

Yes it should be renewed. It’s well-written, characters are well portrayed. And if I’m not mistaken I think the veteran is displaying the loss of his leg for real. Hope I’m not wrong as this is a strong statement by the network.

This show needs to be renewed. It gives the viewers a chance to really become involved with the characters as they are involved with each other.
