What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC drama, The Village stars Warren Christie, Michaela McManus, Lorraine Toussaint, Frankie Faison, Jerod Haynes, Dominic Chianese, Darren Kagasoff, Grace Van Dien, and Moran Atias. The story centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least. Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.

Will NBC cancel or renew The Village for season two? I think it could go either way. Right out of the gate, the ratings weren’t very good, especially for a series that followed NBC’s This Is Us drama. However, the ratings remained pretty consistent and saw some improvement when it was moved to an earlier timeslot. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Please read these comments that your viewers are leaving. You’re asking for feedback. Here it is. BAD DECISION to cancel The Village. NBC did it with Rise as well. I got over that, but now that The Village was cancelled I don’t feel like NBC is worthy of me watching their shows anymore. They don’t give them enough of a chance and just cancel phenomenal shows. Why bother? Bottom line…you made a mistake NBC. That show was fantastic. Real life topics that people relate to.

What A great show really enjoyed season one. I can’t believe it has been canceled please bring it back on. I can’t understand when something really good comes on and then it is canceled especially a show we all can relate to.
Such a shame when you take off good shows and leave crapy ones on,this was a good family show.

One of the best shows ever. I have been binge watching for the last two days. I signed into Google to see when the next season starts only to once again see a GReaT show has been cancelled. How stupid!!!
