What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC drama, The Village stars Warren Christie, Michaela McManus, Lorraine Toussaint, Frankie Faison, Jerod Haynes, Dominic Chianese, Darren Kagasoff, Grace Van Dien, and Moran Atias. The story centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least. Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.

Will NBC cancel or renew The Village for season two? I think it could go either way. Right out of the gate, the ratings weren’t very good, especially for a series that followed NBC’s This Is Us drama. However, the ratings remained pretty consistent and saw some improvement when it was moved to an earlier timeslot. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Loved this series. How could they possibly have cancelled it. I am devastated.
Very disappointed
So sad, finally a show about real people. They all cared about one and other! This show wasn’t filled with hate, jealousy, murder, etc. we needed more shows like this, not all shows need to be about detective, murder, lies and cheating! My husband and I joked about that we want to go live there! Bring it back please!

I am so sad the village is not continuing! Somebody change thier minds. I love the characters and Patricia is she ok? Nicks staying in NY right? And liem and katie ❤ what happens ..so sad. Need a second season !
