What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC drama, The Village stars Warren Christie, Michaela McManus, Lorraine Toussaint, Frankie Faison, Jerod Haynes, Dominic Chianese, Darren Kagasoff, Grace Van Dien, and Moran Atias. The story centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least. Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.

Will NBC cancel or renew The Village for season two? I think it could go either way. Right out of the gate, the ratings weren’t very good, especially for a series that followed NBC’s This Is Us drama. However, the ratings remained pretty consistent and saw some improvement when it was moved to an earlier timeslot. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. We LOVE the village… please bring it back ..a great show that relates to everyday situations…whole family loves it…so disappointed! Hope another network picks it up .. we’ll change networks watching!

Sooo upset to hear The Village has been canceled. It was my new favorite and I couldn’t wait for it to return. It was nice to have a new show that wasn’t another medical drama. Also the characters were so easy to connect to. What a mistake. So sad.
I’m so sad and disappointed that NBC has canceled The Village! I don’t watch a whole lot of television maybe 5 or 6 shows a week on a regular basis and The Village was one of them! It was real and the cast made it real! It hit real life situations! It touched my heart and I couldn’t hardly wait for the next episode to air! I have been so excited for the new season to start and then I discover it has been canceled!!! PLEASE, PLEASE BRING THE VILLAGE BACK NBC!
