What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC drama, The Village stars Warren Christie, Michaela McManus, Lorraine Toussaint, Frankie Faison, Jerod Haynes, Dominic Chianese, Darren Kagasoff, Grace Van Dien, and Moran Atias. The story centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least. Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.

Will NBC cancel or renew The Village for season two? I think it could go either way. Right out of the gate, the ratings weren’t very good, especially for a series that followed NBC’s This Is Us drama. However, the ratings remained pretty consistent and saw some improvement when it was moved to an earlier timeslot. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. I can’t believe that NBC cancelled “The Village.” It was definitely one of the best shows with a fine ensemble of actors. It had a good storyline that was relatable and endearing. Maybe it could be aired on a different day and/or time. Come on and give it some reconsideration like some other shows are given. Please bring The Village back!!!
Every time they have a good show they cancel it and replace it with something stupid!
Loved this show. Was good not trash like so many other shows today. More adults should shout out about these choice the network makes for us. Miss this show!! Please renew it!!!
So sad to see The Village won’t be back. We loved watching it and didn’t want it to end each week. Couldn’t wait for the next week. A great show compared to other shows out there. And the actors were the best!!!!
I had never heard of The Village until a friend told to watch it on Netflix; said it was her favorite show. I started watching; I loved it so much I binged watched the first season in two days. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED there is not a 2nd, 3nd….season.

We love the Village, we looked forward to it every week! It was real life situations with normal people. Please reconsider and bring it back! What can we do to bring it back? All my friends watched too so with so many people watching why would it be cancelled? Please reconsider!
