Although the clock is ticking, NBC still has not announced whether Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan’s Timeless is cancelled or renewed for season three. The Timeless fanbase, which often self-identifies online as #Clockblockers, has been campaigning hard for a season three renewal, despite the TV show’s low ratings in the second season. That season only happened thanks to the fans. When NBC cancelled Timeless, after its freshman outing, there was such an outcry that the network then reversed itself and renewed the series.
Today, knowing the fans feel as bloodied and battered as Wyatt (Matt Lanter), Lucy (Abigail Spencer), and Flynn (Goran Višnjić) look in the above photo, the writers acknowledged the long wait on their official Twitter account. They also made sure to thank fans for their hard push for a third season pick up. Check out their messages, below.
An NBC time-travel drama, Timeless also stars Malcolm Barrett, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit. As the Time Team, their mission is to prevent the destruction of our world as we know it. Susanna Thompson, Annie Wersching, and Michael Rady recur in season two as members of the nemesis organization, Rittenhouse.

UPDATE: We know it's frustrating to our fans to not have an answer yet re: #RenewTimeless. We've been led to believe a couple times that an answer was imminent only to have answer pushed. Unsure if that's good/bad. Just know we're fighting hard for #Timeless.

This show is fantastic,! It’s our Sunday night family show, which with 5 children 3 of whom are teenagers is a rarity! Timeless is truly a great option for Sunday night television. We tried watching the other new shows (Instict, Deception) before they renewed Timeless but they were awful. Please bring this show back for season 3, I love the fact that there is a show on that we can all watch as a family & laugh over & celebrate. No cancellation for Timeless, not when they have the will to save Rufus. I will be crush if you cancel that time travel show.
Absolutely love the show, it’s not another song and dance show or another cop show …which by now are so predictable. In addition, the fact that they incorporate historical facts makes you research them and learn facts that are not well known by everyone. Time to step up NBC, Renew it.
We love this show, it is history at its best and the cast is excellent.

This is a great series, please renew it. I think one of the problems was the s schedule. It Chan g ed from previous season and no advertisement was done. I’m a great fan and found it by mistake!

Please Renew Timeless for a third season. Other than This Is Us, it is my favorite show on NBC.
Heaven forbid they actually keep an informative show on the air that actually piques our interest every week in the often tumultuous, exciting, ‘have we really learned our lesson?’ history. I am sure I am not the only one who has to go to a reference site to either refresh my memory about a the week’s plot or learn about an historical person or incident that I was not familiar with. Anxiously waiting to see if Timeless will be renewed! It is my favorite show and it needs a better timeslot! And my DVR cut off the ending so I had to watch it again on demand to see the ending that changes everything! It is entirely unlike me to care this much about a TV show. This show has such potential!

This is a great show — was so happy when it was renewed last year. It’s amazing how much history is rolled into the weekly plot. I agree with others that there is not enough promotion for this program. because of the time slot I watch via on-demand but I don’t miss an episode.
Great cast — please make sure it is renewed and maybe an earlier time slot so that others can appreciate the creative way the writers include so much history.
