Is the LAPD Chief in over her head in the first season of the Tommy TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Tommy is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of Tommy here. *Status update below.
A CBS dramatic series, the Tommy TV show stars Edie Falco, Michael Chernus, Adelaide Clemens, Thomas Sadoski, Russell G. Jones, Olivia Lucy Phillip, Joseph Lyle Taylor, and Vladimir Caamaño. The series revolves around a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female chief of police for Los Angeles. Abigail “Tommy” Thomas (Falco) uses unflinching honesty and hardball tactics to keep social, political, and national security issues from hindering effective law enforcement in the Southland.

Please reconsider ordering a second season for Tommy. I found the writing exceptional and the acting wonderful. Please think of this as a mid-season entry for season 2? Tommy has a great group of actors and my friends absolutely loved this show.

Tommy is a great show! Edie Falco and the whole cast work really well. It is a new show and deserves to be developed. Why do they always take off intelligent, exciting, well written shows and replace them with “reality” or lowbrow comedy series? Some of us are not amused by this. Example: WHY is Survivor STILL on?!?! Please reconsider removing this show. Was the inter-racial, LGBT, strong female character too much for some demographics? The world is changing….
Seriously why is Survivor still on!!
I really liked this show. I think shows should be given more than 12 episodes to make a decision. It takes just a few episodes to get to know the characters and story line. This could have been a great 2nd season given the chance.
I loved watching Tommy, it was a show I would watch fully without skipping through. The showwas thought provoking. To see a show such as this one go down because it did not have the viewership that CBS wanted is in part due to the network showing on a Thursday night @ 10pm. It is a shame especially since the network has shows such as the bachelor and bachelorette that bring nothing to the table but mindless TV. We (heterosexual couple married 63 years) very much enjoyed Tommy. We would like to see it come back for another season!

I guess this is another show I liked too much! Edie was just getting started. She could have done so much more.
Very good cast of characters. Can’t believe it’s over. Who’s in charge of CBS. Maybe they don’t watch tv like the rest of us do. Good grief!
Really upsets me that keep cancelling awesome shows. Of all the show’s, Tommy was the best show ever. She and her staff and police department were amazing. This show I can say I sit down to watch cause it’s a fantastic show. I think you should run this another season and give people time to see it. I think this show has potential like nice. Please don’t take this away. Thanks Tommy you are awesome.
Tommy is a great show. Good example for young women. Keep the show. Give her another chance.
Very disappointed you want to cancel Tommy. It seems all the good shows get canceled but all the dumb reality shows go on and on. So sad

Gotta agree as well! You have stupid dating shows that have no relevance than the first female chief compared and which gets cancelled!
Very disappointed Tommy is being canceled. Looked forward to each week’s program. Think show should have had at least another half season to develop and build a following. If Macgyver can be renewed Tommy should certainly be back. My husband and I watch it together each week and agree Tommy deserves another season.

I am so sick of seeing a new show come out and it is canceled fast. One season is not long enough time to get high ratings. I hope when they rate a show they count the fact that people like to tape them and watch later . I love taping shows and watching them later. I don’t usually have time to watch shows when they are on. People now days are busy with kids involved in year round sports. That means you watch tv when you can.
