What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, the Tommy TV show stars Edie Falco, Michael Chernus, Adelaide Clemens, Thomas Sadoski, Russell G. Jones, Olivia Lucy Phillip, Joseph Lyle Taylor, and Vladimir Caamaño. The series revolves around a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female chief of police for Los Angeles. Abigail “Tommy” Thomas (Falco) uses unflinching honesty and hardball tactics to keep social, political, and national security issues from hindering effective law enforcement in the Southland.

Hard to believe they would cancell a show with a fresh approach like Tommy. Great people and acting. Look at what they do eith news sbd 60 minutes, re/run and re-runs. I stopped watching, they need nee people who make the decisions.
The first couple of episodes were a little slow, but since then, I have really enjoyed it. I am really bumbed it won’t be back. If they change their mind and renew it for a second season, I will be estatic!
My husband and I watch the series every week. We are very disappointed to hear that it has been canceled. Falco is a real talent. The last show was great, but it still leaves a possibility for a second run. Hope someone in CBS thinks about the fans. Probably most people record it since it is opposite some tough competition.
I think it is dumb to run a series for 12 episodes to just cancel it. It takes a little to get invested in the characters. People will stop watching fill in shows because of their short life.
Yes, let’s cancel Tommy, so we can watch more shows like the Bachelor/Bachlorette and similar mindless shows. I am being sarcastic.. they set you with a potential intriguing second season,then decide to end it.. there have been several shows in the past with low first season ratings, that rebounded during the second season. Viewers need at least a second season!

Please reconsider the canceling the TV show Tommy. It’s one of my favorite shows and Edie Falco is great in it. Please reconsider your vote for canceling. I am disabled and the one thing that I used to count on was Thursday night and Tommy.

I love the show. I have not missed one episode. I hope that it comes back on. I made Thursday night my alone time so I can watch Tommy which is my #1 show. Tommy is a prime example that women can do anything a guy can do and sometimes better than what the guys do. This show should not be canceled.
