What’s This TV Show About?
A Netflix sci-fi mystery, Travelers stars Eric McCormack, MacKenzie Porter, Nesta Cooper, Jared Abrahamson, Reilly Dolman, Patrick Gilmore, J. Alex Brinson, Leah Cairns, and Jennifer Spence. The drama unfolds in a post-apocalyptic future, in which special operatives known as “travelers” go back in time to save humanity from destruction. Unlike much time-travel fiction, there is no time machine involved. Instead, a traveler transfers his or her consciousness into the body of “target” just prior to that person’s death, then uses the person’s identity as a cover, while carrying out secret missions.
As of February 1, 2019, Travelers has been cancelled, so there won’t be a fourth season. Could it return someday? Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is difficult to predict whether Netflix will cancel or renew Travelers for season four. Flying blind, I think it will be renewed. Although the series started out as a co-production between Canada’s Showcase and Netflix, as of season three, it is solely a Netflix TV series. I would have expected them to announce this season as the third and final season if they were ready to end it. Great sieries on so many levels. Great consistency of its Sci Fy premise. Incredibly attachable characters great acting strong emotions like empathy and love. Just super high quality all around. Hopefully will renew
One of the best shows out there, & while season 3 started off pretty slow, it didnt disappoint and by episode 6, I was on the edge of my seat. Such a better finale then last year too & Cant wait to see what they do next year.
Definitely hope Travelers comes back for a 4th season. Great series – original, intelligent, well-acted. Love the cast. One of the best series I have seen.

Travelers is an excellent series and should not be cancelled. The acting is exemplary by all the main characters. The story lines are believable and the suspense definitely holds your attention. I usually can barely wait for an episode to be aired. I truly hope Netflix does renew! Thanks

Netflix… I’ve told so many friends and family about Travelers. This show is one of the best written, superbly cast not to mention awesomely directed series on Netflix. Your executives would be completely out of touch with what viewers want and love to see on television if they failed to air a 4th season
