TV show description:
This crime drama revolves around Carrie Wells (Poppy Montgomery), a woman who has a (nearly) perfect memory. She can recall every place, day, and conversation that she’s ever had. Unfortunately, she can’t let go of the ones she’d rather forget, including the murder of her sister many years earlier. Unlike any other event in her life, Carrie can’t recall some key details of that day when she and her sister were playing in the woods and it haunts her.
Years earlier, Carrie worked for the Syracuse Police Department and used her abilities to help solve crimes as a detective. Carrie was dating her partner on the force but they broke up, she quit the force, and then moved to New York.
Most recently, Carrie’s been supporting herself by counting cards at gambling halls, thanks to her perfect memory. Unfortunately, once the establishments catch on, they throw her out.
Her former boyfriend, Al Burns (Dylan Walsh), has since moved to the Big Apple and become a detective for the NYPD. His squad includes his right-hand man, Detective Mike Costello (Michael Gaston); a junior member named Detective Roe Saunders (Kevin Rankin); and sassy and street-smart Detective Nina Inara (Daya Vaidya).
Carrie and Al reunite when she’s asked to consult on a homicide case. Being back on the job feels right and, despite having conflicted feelings for Al, Carrie decides to join his unit as a homicide detective. She sees things that other people miss on their cases and hopes that, one day, she’ll finally be able to solve her sister’s murder.
Episode #61 — Paranoid Shooter
When a shooter on the loose triggers a flashback that doesn’t add up with Carrie’s perfect memory, the team at Major Crimes discovers that a nefarious conspiracy is at play and trained killers are among them.
First aired: January 22.2016.
What do you think? Do you like the Unforgettable TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a fifth season?

Really! I have just watched (reportedly) the last show and I’m sad.. again! .Why do I get the feeling there is a trend to end TV series on a tragic note or an ugly situation. Is this some modern Artistic notion of suspense? As if reality is not suspenseful enough in our modern times!! The Good Wife did it, now Unforgettable? What show will bite the dust in a less than positve way next? We all have a need to see something that has justice, is tidied up, made right and sends us to bed thinking the world is not… Read more »
Cruel to shoot Al and cancel the series. Been a follower since season 1 despite hiatuses for Poppy’s pregnancies. I vote bring it back!!
You have got to be kidding. Disappointed with the cancellation; one of the best shows on TV and a terrific cast. AT least one more season to tie up the loose ends; similar to reading a book and someone has removed the last chapter. There needs to be a last chapter to Unforgettable and possibly another season.
I think their should be another season . It is one of the best shows on tv. !
They should at least have one more season, to put closure to the series instead of leaving you hanging. I hate when they cancel shows with cliff hanger.
I really liked this show. Disappointed that it was cancelled. We want to know what happened to Carrie & Al. There is so much junk on the air that gets renewed, yet a good show is cancelled. I suppose once again, the audience is to mature. It’s as if you don’t count if you’re over 30
What. Again. I. Liked. Unforgettable
We love this and Carrie.A fresh and new concept to tv detectives. Please don’t cancel,we can wait till the next season comes on and what they come up with.
This should never be canceled. I love this show and never miss one, no matter I am. We have to know what happens. Canceling it this way leaves so many questions!
The last episode was one of the best of the season, darker, more suspenseful. If they had made more episodes in this vein, maybe it would have been renewed. That said, the way it ended was not in the spirit of the show. I can see why the loyal fans are pissed!
No, that’s very wrong, al gets shot, and than is it over, cancelled, not nice, please don’t, not this way.
its such bull **** you would end it like that . right when she was going to say I love you to al.. that’s f—in bull ****…
find a bar of soap, insert mouth, gulp H2o. We all hate what happened to the show but let’s keep our true language thoughts to ourselves. Trust me I’m no saint but there is a time for this type of creativity.
Absolutely disgusted your not doing another series . I looked forward to coming home from work an watching a few episodes I love this show and to end it the way you did. Well that’s just downright. Wrong .
UNBELIEVEABLE!!!! This is how u cancel a show??? Y would u shoot a main character and then just cancel. With whats on TV lately this show is one that should NOT have been dumped…I can name some shows that this one can replace without missing a beat. Atleast bring it back and give it a proper RESOLVE……
Network TV execs today are about as smart as those who cancelled Star Trek in the mid-1960s. They have absolutely no patience (or intelligence) and cannot seem to comprehend that most shows need a stable time frame, and some time to develop.
Truer words were never said I believe the same why They’re not really going by how many people are watching or commenting about the facts
Unforgettable is a solid show should’ve been renewed for full season or at least for a short season maybe 5 to 6 episodes to tie up loose ends
