Telly’s Take
The 13th season of Whose Line Is It Anyway? got off to a poor start and the numbers have been pretty lousy. However, this series is likely fairly cheap to produce and the smallest broadcast network depends on the ratings much less than the bigger ones. I suspect it will be renewed, as long as the main cast wants to continue. Subscribe for free updates on any Whose Line Is it Anyway? cancellation or renewal news.
Update: In October 2017, Mochrie tweeted that the series had been renewed. In November 2017, The CW announced that Masters of Illusion and Penn & Teller: Fool Us had been renewed for new seasons. The network also revealed that “never-before-seen original episodes” of Whose Line would air in Summer 2018 but didn’t call it a season renewal. We later confirmed that the show’s been renewed for season 14.

What planet do you people live on? In all the years I’ve checked into this wretched show I have never so much as chuckled. Just because the performers can’t contain their laughter doesn’t mean they are funny. I would describe the performers as mimes who won’t shut up. Step back and take a clear look. I mean could you imagine seeing one of these “skits” on SNL? At its worst, SNL was never this unfunny. Let me approach this differently. This tv show attempts to answer the question, Can professional comedians take boring premises from an audience of average people… Read more »
I live on the planet Earth. It’s the third planet from our star in a system known to us as “The Solar System”. I see that you come from a planet so primitive that the concept of improv comedy has yet to be invented. Perhaps, in a thousand Earth years or so, your culture may reach a point of sophistication (an Age of Enlightenment, if you will) where improv comedy is not only appreciated, but revered. BTW, I bet you didn’t know that a huge portion of SNL players came from Second City. I’m not going tell you what Second… Read more »
this is a hilarious show; ;highlight of my week. please keep it going….we all need to laugh
I love this show because it makes me laugh. Please keep politics out of it. The white on white comment regarding the White House was not necessary. Thank you
This show is the the only show I really like and beg you not to cancel it. While waiting for it to come on at night, I have also enjoyed watching BRINGING UP BATES.
I love the UP TV NETWORK!!!!
We absolutely love Who’s Line! Everyone we’ve turned on to the show loves it too! The cast is amazing and talented. I wish they’d advertise it more because that would certainly help ratings. Some folks I know didn’t realize it was still on but are big fans! Don’t give up it’s better than most other shows on tv just from the hysterically funny improv!
This is my all time favorite show, ever!! Been watchin since Clive was the host! I’ve preferred to record it and watch the next day so I can fast forward through Aisha talking…..cannot stand her!! She yells and just isnt funny. Not a fan of the celebrities coming on either. Please bring the show back with a decent host and play some of the older games. Loved the ones w/Brad as a bartender. 🙂
For the sake of comedy we can’t let them cancel, I’ve been watching since i was a little kid. Ryan, Collin, and Wayne are comedic geniuses compared to what we call comedy now. These three men have been making me laugh till my sides hurt for years, i can sit and watch the re-runs all day and still laugh just as hard as i did growing up. Please don’t cancel Whose Line CW. It will teach kids to laugh at themselves instead of thinking the world is out to get them. Thank you for listening.
Have loved this show since it first started with Drew Carey. I personally think the show would be better without all the guest stars from the CW on it, as I think it takes away from the talents of the regular cast and if you don’t watch much of the CW most of them are not even known that well. More improve with the cast and less guest stars!! They add nothing to the show! Ryan and Colin are so funny together!!!
I would love to see Whose Line again. I hope they bring it back. The cast is hilarious. And so is Aisha Tyler. And the musicians are fantastic. PLEASE BRING IT BACK.!!!!!

Wonder how accurate the rating numbers are since you can watch the episode at cwseed.com that the network promotes.
I truly enjoy this show and wish there were more episodes this season but I’ll have to wait until next summer.
It has been renewed (from Colin and Ryan Twitter). Never want to see this show ending
I personally enjoy the show, don’t want to see it cancelled. It’s 2017, where are the ratings coming from anyway? I got rid of my TV provider a long time ago because I tend to watch things on Netlfix, Hulu, etc,… So, I assume a large majority of people have also done the same. Plus, a lot of people (including myself) watch their TV online so that should factor in somehow right? Or not? Or do people just naturally forget because there’s literally WAY too much to watch.
LOVE this show….it’s one of the few shows that we’ve shown to all of our friends and family, and EVERYONE loves this show and gets a great laugh out of it!!!
They just need to find a way to get more notable people on it & promote it alittle more- I had forgot about its existence but it’s soooo funny! Like actually funny I hope it does come back for another season
Agreed – I’d say far too many of the guests are only there as some form of cross-promotion of other CW shows, and the guest stars are even more important now that there’s only one guest player (although adding Wayne Brady as a third regular was a great move). The network also makes some odd choices like delaying the Wil Wheaton episode by a year in favour of Chris Benoit. That aside though, I’ve been watching the show since it first started here in the UK and I’d say it’s never been better. The cast is still hilarious, but what… Read more »
