In early 2019, CBS gave Young Sheldon an early two-season renewal and season four is the final year of that order. How soon will the network order more episodes? Will Young Sheldon be cancelled or renewed for season five? Stay tuned. *Status Update Below.
Young Sheldon stars Iain Armitage, Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Annie Potts, Montana Jordan, Raegan Revord, Matt Hobby, and Jim Parsons (narration). Recurring cast members include Wallace Shawn, Craig T. Nelson, Ryan Phuong, Wyatt McClure, Danielle Pinnock, and Rex Linn. Revolving around the early life of The Big Bang Theory’s Sheldon Cooper (Parsons), this comedy series follows a gifted and naive young Sheldon (Armitage) as he navigates his way through life while living with his very normal Texas family. Sheldon’s father, George (Barber), struggles to find his way as a high school football coach and as father to a boy he doesn’t understand. Sheldon’s mother, Mary (Perry), fiercely protects and nurtures her son in a town where he just doesn’t fit in. Sheldon’s older brother, Georgie (Jordan), does the best he can in high school. Sheldon’s twin sister, Missy (Revord), sometimes resents all the attention Sheldon gets, but also remains the one person who can reliably tell her brother the truth. Sheldon’s beloved Meemaw (Potts), his foul-mouthed, hard-drinking Texas grandmother, is very supportive of her grandson and his unique gifts.

I agree
Three More Seasons YAY!
I love Young Sheldon! Keep it going
I really like Young Sheldon, too. And I especially like Meemaw… she’s a hoot. I just wish everyone in the family had bigger parts each week.
Missy is good too.
Nice to watch this funny, non political show!
I really adore this show because, it’s got a fantastic cast and, good writers. The first two seasons’ ratings ballooned and, when it was pushed to 8pm, the balloon began to slowly deflate but, it managed to finish ninth which was respectable. This season, seem to be the last but, if it goes well it will get a fifth. If not, it will get the axe . He is in syndication now. I take my hat off to Iain Armitage, for his portrayal of Sheldon.
Don’t cancel the show……
This show is just getting funnier every show. The writers finally are really working on it, last year wasn’t quite as good as this season so far, but we wouldn’t miss this show we all love it in our house. Wish they were an hour long, they seem to end so fast, with all the commercials. But still diehard Young Sheldon fans. Please keep up the great writing, we want this comedy to last.
This show is very entertaining. For us it is must see tv. Wholesome, funny and entertaining.
