It’s a big day for Steve Maeda. Not only did the producer sell an untitled FBI drama to CBS, but he has also sold a robot series to FOX, Deadline reports.
The series, titled 244 Degrees of Freedom, “takes place in a world where robots have evolved in intelligence, influence, and social status, and humans have been relegated to a permanent underclass — until one man is driven to lead a rebellion against the machines, risking everything to uncover a conspiracy that could spell the end of the human race.”
Maeda, who has previously worked on Syfy’s Helix and ABC’s Pan Am, is set to write and executive producer the series in addition to his untitled CBS drama.
What do you think? Does this sound like something you’d watch?
