TV show description:
A courthouse drama that’s set in Los Angeles, the All Rise TV show follows the chaotic, hopeful (and sometimes absurd) world of judges, prosecutors, public defenders, bailiffs, clerks, and cops. A diverse group, these professionals have one thing in common — they’re seeking justice for the citizens involved in a flawed legal process.
Judge Lola Carmichael (Missick) was recently appointed to the bench and was a highly regarded and impressive deputy district attorney. Now that she’s a judge, Lola pushes the boundaries and challenges the expectations of what someone in that position can be.
It’s not an easy road, but thankfully, Lola has some friends and co-workers who can offer her counsel.
Mark Callan (Bethel) is Lola’s roguish best friend and colleague. He’s a successful deputy district attorney who now must adjust to the shifting boundaries in their personal and professional relationship.
Supervisory Judge Lisa Benner (Helgenberger) is an influential and powerful figure who’s tasked with overseeing Lola’s transition into her new job.
And finally, there’s Sherri Kansky (Miles), Lola’s efficient and pragmatic judicial assistant. She’s a pro but isn’t thrilled at the prospect of “training” a rookie judge.
Others working in the courthouse include Emily Lopez (Camacho), an empathetic and blunt public defender who’s filled with fire and conviction; Luke Watkins (Brinson), a court bailiff who’s taking law classes at night; and Sara Castillo (Mendez), a court reporter who’s a reliable source of inside information and advice.
Episode #58 — Sometimes Truth is Stanger Than Fiction
Emily represents a client charged with murder, and a new presiding judge is announced. Also, Mark’s father makes a difficult decision to protect himself and his family. Later, Mark and Amy celebrate their wedding.
First aired: October 18, 2023.
I really like the show. Would hate for it to get canceled
OWN TV is picking it up people
Was hoping this was a mistake. This show should have been renewed.Very disappointed.
Was hoping maybe CBS would have second thoughts and bring this show back. I really liked it and am very disappointed that it will no longer be on.
I loved this show! Shame, shame on CBS!!!
What a shame. Great show.
Love the show. Sorry to hear that the show was canceled. When you start enjoying shows the powers to be will start canceling. Hopefully this has nothing to do with the diversity of the cast.

I love Al l Rise, it should not be canceled
All Rise was one of our favorite shows. We look forward to watching it every week and enjoy the topics covered and story line. It should NOT have been cancelled.
I just can’t believe that all my shows they are canceling. My Sister and I love to watch all raise and now good things are happening on the show and they are canceling it. Very sad, I hope you will reconsider and put it back on. Sad!
For me, this was the ONLY worthwhile show to watch. It’s a BIG shame to cancel it. I can’t love anything else that’s available on evenings. Have to admit, though, last week left a lot of holes open to fix. (or fill, if the script writers are able….)
I LOVED All Rise, from the very beginning, (and all of the cast!) PLEASE DO NOT cancel this show!!!
