Based on the Australian drama series Sisters, the Almost Family TV show explores what it means to be a family and the potential emotional complications that new generations of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) children can face.
In the series, Julia Bechley (Snow) is an adult only child who has her world turned upside down. She learns that her father, Doctor Leon Benchley (Hutton), a pioneer in fertility, secretly used his own sperm to father over a hundred children.
While still reeling from this revelation, Julia discovers that she has two new half-sisters — her former best friend, Edie Palmer (Echikunwoke), and ex-Olympic athlete Roxy Doyle (Osment). As the three daughters begin to reconcile their new reality, Julia starts life without having her dad by her side, Edie comes to grips with her sexuality, and Roxy faces adulthood out of the spotlight.
The trio attempt to bond as unconventional sisters while dealing with new siblings as part of a rapidly expanding and very untraditional extended family.

The first few episodes were terrible because in my opinion it seemed they didn’t have a direction where they wanted to go with the show but after they took that first break they came back strong they found their identity and the show is really good and definitely deserve a second season.
Love this show. Hoping it is not canceled. Looking forward to another season.
Please do not cancel Almost family!! Please give it more time to catch on. Maybe start the next season in the summer?

I love this show it’s a good womans show with no killings like so many are now. Its family’s show that is really true. Don’t cancel it. It’s a nice evening show to sit and watch. Please

I like the show it is very good. Not what you would expect.
I loved the show but I hate the character Amanda Doherty. She is too aggressive and dominating,. Reminds me of a female who raped me as a child. I stopped watching because of her.
I love the show give it more time the actors and actresses are great i love the storyline its not the same old garbage on tv.
Love this show!! The acting is terrific and the scenes are not too predictable, for a t.v. show. I hope they do NOT cancel this show!! I wait for it and actually set my phone alarm ahead of time.
I think the show had a lot of potential, but it was hard to watch because it got off track with raunchiness not suitable for prime time tv. I had to turn it off and could not get through the first show. very disappointed because this is a real and complex issue that would make a good drama, TV series.
What are you saying what part is raunchy its a good story and it doesn’t have to be taken so serious its just tv its not real. Sit back and enjoy your over thinking it.
