TV show description:
A high-tech police drama series, APB is inspired by a New York Times Magazine article by David Amsden.
The Chicago Police Department is spiraling out of control thanks to high crime, officer-involved shootings, cover-ups, corruption, and under-funding. Billionaire engineer Gideon Reeves (Justin Kirk) wants to change all that. After his best friend is murdered in a botched robbery attempt, the killer remains at large and Reeves demands justice.
Putting up millions of dollars of his own money, he makes an unprecedented deal to take charge of the troubled 13th District. He wants to reboot it as a technically innovative police force. With Gideon himself having created the department’s cutting-edge technology, this eccentric yet brilliant outsider challenges the city’s police force to rethink everything about the way they fight crime.
But the near-overnight transition to becoming the city’s most advanced police district isn’t easy. Gideon knows that, if he’s going to change anything, he needs help. He finds this help in Detective Theresa Murphy (Natalie Martinez). She’s an ambitious, street-smart cop who’s willing to give Reeves’ technological changes a chance.
Skeptical Captain Ned Conrad (Ernie Hudson), Officer Nicholas Brandt (Taylor Handley), and Officer Tasha Goss (Tamberla Perry) are going to be a bit harder to convince.
With the help of Reeves’ gifted tech officer, Ada Hamilton (Caitlin Stasey), Reeves and Murphy embark on a mission to turn the 13th District into a dedicated crime-fighting force of the 21st century.
Episode #12 — Ricochet
When Gideon is blamed for recent terrorist attacks, he and Captain Conrad work fast to track down the real culprit. But Gideon finds himself in a predicament when Danny continues to use his technological skills to disrupt the city, leaving Murphy, Ada and the rest of the squad struggling to find a way to stop him. Discover who makes it out alive.
First aired: April 24, 2017.
What do you think? Do you like the APB TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
what the Hell is wrong with you people you bring a show on here and then cancel the show we watched it all the shows and you jerks cancel maybe some other tv channel will take it over fox makes one mistake after another
I loved this show. was looking forward to the next season. hopefully there will be another season….
Love the concept of this show! Only watched a few episodes so far cause had it DVRd but we liked them. Just think some of the lines/circumstances could be tightened up a bit so it would be a serious cop show rather than a little too hokey to be believable. I think this show should have gotten a chance. Nowadays there are so many shows to watch that the first few episodes or first season ratings don’t tell the whole story. A lot of people , like us, DVR shows & binge watch them later. With APB, we didn’t have… Read more »

Really good show with an interesting concept. Am watching it on Hulu and really enjoying it only to find it has been cancelled. There should st least be a second season.

GREAT SHOW NEEDS TO BE SAVED!!!!!
Good show, but time slot too late.. bring back the show…. only fox.smh
It’s a good show and should be brought back
Great Show! Needs to come Back! Please!
Think there should be a second session, or at least something to end it off instead of just canceling a good show. The ratings were probably down due to the timing of the show like football and other shows.
I hate that you cancelled the show my husband look forward to watching it I thought you had a hell of a good show going and just like FOX you cancelled. Please please bring it back
Great show
