Batman was on television long before Ben Affleck and Christian Bale brought the character to life on the big screen. Adam West was the man behind the mask during the run of the 1960s television series, and he is planning to bring the character back to life again.
At a recent appearance at MegaCon 2016, Adam West and Burt Ward teased a new Batman project featuring their Batman and Robin duo. According to Cinema Blend, the pair teased the project by saying the following:
“Well, I have a gag order…However… No no, me and Burt have been working on a new project that’s just gonna knock your socks off, and believe me, it’s our Batman and Robin!”
That was all West said, but Cinema Blend speculated that West was referencing an animated project that would use his and Ward’s voices.

What a coincidence! I just started watching the series from start to finish. I say, bring on the animated series! No one better to do the voices of Batman and Robin than the original cape crusaders, Adam West and Burt Ward!
You have got to be kidding! I loved Batman & Robin back I the 60’S but get real – your time has come and gone.
