What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, The Blacklist stars James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Kattenhoff, Ryan Eggold, Harry Lennix, Amir Arison, Mozhan Marnò, and Hisham Tawfiq. The crime drama centers on one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives, Raymond “Red” Reddington (Spader). He offers to help the authorities, if rookie agent Elizabeth Keen (Boone) partners with him. In season five, Red is in the process of rebuilding his criminal empire with her at his side. Although she’s still working for the Feds, Liz finds the idea of indulging her criminal side rather tempting.
Season Five Ratings
The fifth season of The Blacklist averaged a 0.93 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.66 million total viewers. Compared to season four, that is down by 6% and up by 7%, respectively. Find out how The Blacklist stacks up against the other NBC TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Once upon a time, The Blacklist was a breakout drama on the Peacock Network. Since then, the ratings have really dropped, but it was renewed for a fifth installment. Meanwhile, its spin-off, The Blacklist: Redemption was cancelled after just one season. The ratings have remained pretty steady for this show so I believe The Blacklist will be renewed for season six. Blaçk List is the best written, most interesting show on TV. We are all talking about all channels, all networks , including Netflix Amozon Prime, Roc, etc… It has a huge following and shold be cotinued for season 6, 7 , 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 Please continue the best show NBC gas eever made… The follower love it…… I know at least 125 couplespersonally that put this show as top priority in their Thursday agenda and no one ever fails to record it. Most network TV is mindless and predictable beyond words. Blacklist is at least mentally challenging on a few levels, including history, technology and old politics – and usually not the expected, headline ones. I HOPE it stays on long enough to answer both the obvious questions but also why did Elizabeth’s mother have such a thing about Kaplan watching over Elizabeth but telling her to not get attached, why Brian Dennehey complies with Red, and what – exactly – prompted Red to leave the CIA in the way he did because he has Always reminded me of someone who’s somewhere… Read more »
Season 5 episode 22 was the most confusing episode i ever watched.. Red is not the real red. Im left wondering then how smart was the real red?

Please I beg of you DO NOT cancel Blacklist, there are very few shows on TV that are worth watching and The Blacklist is worth watching. The problem with the rating is that our network the airs the show is always pushing it aside for other shows or events. The Olympics puts it on hiatus, March madness pushes it aside, so I ask how are the ratings to improve if we cannot watch it, please don’t end this show, I will really quit watching NBC if this happens.
Smartest show on TV…
It would be a SERIOUS travesty not to re-new a show of this caliber. This is the most well written and we’ll acted drama/crime drama on TV since, in my opinion, Shark (starring James Woods) back in the early 2000’s. The biggest issue(s) this show has faced, which has had nothing to do with acting, plots, storyline, or writing, is the fact NBC has failed to give The Blacklist a permanent home with regards to a specific day and time it airs. Blacklist is an amazing show that I hope will continue on. I was a Little late to watching it but ever since I started I can’t stop.

Still the best show on tv. It’s clever, unexpected and entertaining. James Spader is nothing short of fantastic. Please renew! So many really bad shows on tv, we can’t stomach another reality show.
