Get ready for more of those big Reagan family dinners. CBS has renewed Blue Bloods for a sixth season.
Blue Bloods revolves around the Irish-American Reagan family and their work as part of the NYPD. The cast includes Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Amy Carlson, Sami Gayle, Vanessa Ray, and Marisa Ramirez.
A cornerstone of the CBS schedule on Friday nights, Blue Bloods has been down slightly in season five. The show’s been averaging a 1.29 rating in the 18-49 demographic (down 8%) but is averaging a whopping 11.29 million viewers, consistently making it the most-watched show on network television on Friday nights.

To whom; I’m late coming on on board, due to the late time. However, two of my patients were such devoted fans, I thought I would look into the series. I stumbled across the reruns on Ion channel about 6 months or more. At this date, I get off at noon on Thursday’s. Nothing gets done for the rest of the day! I love this show, also. I have gone back and binge watched all five seasons. I can’t wait for season six to start!
KEEP IT. I am a BIG fan. I look forward to EVERY episode and reruns. Great cast; wonderful mix of subplots; strong morals and strong family ties. One of the CERY BEST shows on ANY network. KEEP IT.
The BEST cop show and maybe one of the BEST shows in general I have seen in years! I love how this show is family centered and despite all the craziness in this world, they always gather together and for Sunday dinner. They’re not perfect, but gives a sense of comfort in this crazy world we live in. Something I need in my life these days…Dang good writing too!!!
Please do not cancel Blue Bloods. This show is one that everyone can watch and not be embarrassed about what may be on this show. Our family ranges in age from 18 to 58 and we all watch it. The kids come over and watch it after their Friday night games, it’s a winner for us.
I love Blue Bloods and hope they continue to have many more seasons.

This show is great. It tackles more than one story line a show. My husband now hooked as well. Finally a show for all the family to watch together. The stars are great and Tom Selleck makes it that much better.

I am a new comer to Blue Bloods. Did not watch the show until the beginning of this past tv season but now find I am a devoted watcher of the show. I am so glad this show has been renewed. I love the family relationships and the plotlines. Would hate to see this show cancelled, especially since just found it.
