TV show description:
This drama is about a multi-generational family who are dedicated to New York City law enforcement.
New York City’s Police Commissioner, Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), is the head of both the police force and the Reagan family. He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics. Those same politics plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry (Len Cariou), during his stint as Chief.
A widowed father of three boys and a girl, Frank’s essentially a blue-collar guy who’s worked his way up through the ranks. It hasn’t been an easy journey, particularly because he lost his eldest son in the line of duty.
Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) is the oldest surviving Reagan son and a seasoned detective. He’s married, the father of two kids, and a hot-tempered Iraqi War vet who occasionally uses dubious tactics to solve cases.
The sole woman in the Reagan family is Erin Reagan Boyle (Bridget Moynahan). She’s a New York Assistant District Attorney and a newly single parent of a teenage daughter. She also serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father. It was her mother’s wish that she and her younger brother stay in law enforcement but off the police force. She and Danny have each other’s backs but know how to push each other’s buttons too.
Jamie (Will Estes) is the youngest Reagan, fresh out of Harvard Law and the family’s “golden boy.” Unable to deny the family tradition, Jamie decided to give up a lucrative future in law and is now a rookie cop, much to the chagrin of his fiancee. Things become extra complicated when he’s asked to become part of a clandestine police investigation that the rest of the family knows nothing about — something that could impact the family’s legacy forever.

What do you think? Do you like the Blue Bloods TV show? Do you think it should be ending or renewed for a 17th season on CBS?
Blue Bloods is a great show and I watch reruns, but I won’t watch the current season because it comes too late for my bedtime.
Can’t wait for NEW season of Blue Bloods. Until then, it’s the ION & WGN marathons to hold me over. I still miss Jackie, best partner for Danny.
One of the best shows on TV. We don’t miss a show.
I even watch the reruns on other channels. This show is the best
A great show with family values. Tom Selleck is the best and the rest of the cast is awesome.
I think it would be a BIG mistake to cancel this wonderful series. This is a good all around good quality show. Good content and characters. Love the family dinners. Yes, as someone mentioned before, it really does give you something to think about. Please don’t cancel this show. Everything about this show is good.
AWE!!! Blue Bloods. What can I say but This is the best show on TV.
PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL.
Blue Bloods is a family based show that deals with everyday life. I will be truly upset if this show comes to an end. It’s one of my favorites.
What was the blessing before dinner on the last show this week?
PLEASE DO NOT cancel Blue Bloods If I’m not able to watch it, I record it!!! You’ve also cancelled PERSON OF INTEREST and that really upset me!! At the age of 59, I’ve had numerous strokes and these 2 shows keep me able to chat on FB about these 2 shows on FB.. I’m now trying to find & record the reruns on other channels. This is the 2 shows that my Daughter & grand daughter are able to talk about…We DO NOT the vampire, ghost, or stupid “fantasy” shows
Keep it on. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love the show, all the crew play their parts perfectly.
Please don’t cancel Blue Bloods. It’s one of the best shows there is. It’s seems to real. I love the stories, and the family gatherings
Bring on new seasons. PLEASE
I am a former State of CA. Law enforcement employee, who can not get enough of this show. Well written, cast is superb. Story line directs its viewers to very realistic messages while protraying the wonderful family values of this strong Irish family and that says a lot coming from this Scottish lass. Grateful for another Season. Thank you!
