Did Sydney make the right choice in the first season of the Bluff City Law TV show on NBC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Bluff City Law is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the season one episodes of Bluff City Law here. *Status update below.
An NBC legal drama, the Bluff City Law TV series stars Jimmy Smits, Caitlin McGee, Scott Shepherd, Barry Sloane, Michael Luwoye, MaameYaa Boafo, Stony Blyden, and Jayne Atkinson. Coming from a famous Memphis family that’s known for taking on injustice, a brilliant lawyer named Sydney Strait (McGee) used to work at her father Elijah’s celebrated law firm until their tumultuous relationship got in the way. After barely speaking to Elijah (Smits) for years, Sydney is suddenly thrust back into the family fold when her philanthropist mother passes away unexpectedly. In the wake of the loss of his wife and in hopes of reconnecting with the daughter he loves, Elijah asks Sydney to rejoin his Civil Rights firm and take on a chemical company whose product may cause cancer. Despite her lingering resentment and distrust, she agrees because she knows that working alongside her father is her best hope at changing the world — as long as they can find a way to get along. No sooner has Sydney returned than she stumbles on a secret that Elijah has been keeping from her that may change everything.

This show is one of the best shows on tv. We always look forward to watching it and we have not been disappointed with any of the episodes. It is a great show with a storyline that keeps you intrigued and hopeful…I love it.

This is one of the best series I’ve seen in years. The plots and dynamics between the characters are intelligent and relatable. They draw from current issues without grazing too deeply into political pastures, and very often end with an unexpected twist. I typically avoid any legal, medical or police dramas. However, the cast, setting, and trailer drew me in. It definitely deserves to be renewed.
Please don’t cancel Bluff City Law, it is a great show, easy to follow and always always leaves you with a good feeling that makes everyone feel valuable, a much needed program!

The charm, common sense and dignity this show brings to day to day drama makes it phenomenal. I love it and plan to remain a loyal viewer. Jimmy Smits is one of my all time favorite actors and he does the character Elijah justice. The show is great! Praying there will be a season 2.
This a solid drama with an outstanding and diverse cast. It tackles current issues in a thoughtful, yet entertaining manner. There is great chemistry among the cast. NBC should renew this series for se4cond season and put it in a better time slot. It’s a quality show that deserves to be renewed.
Please renew Bluff City Law for a second season. It is an interesting and good show with good characters. Bluff City Law SHOULD BE RENEWED! The day and time slot hurt the ratings. Put it in a more appropriate day and time and it will do great!

I really enjoy this show. The characters are great and we’re just getting to know them and their family dynamic. It’s clean and it addresses controversial topics. Please don’t cancel this show! The ending of s1e10 was seriously heartbreaking. You can’t leave us hanging!!
