Did Sydney make the right choice in the first season of the Bluff City Law TV show on NBC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Bluff City Law is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the season one episodes of Bluff City Law here. *Status update below.
An NBC legal drama, the Bluff City Law TV series stars Jimmy Smits, Caitlin McGee, Scott Shepherd, Barry Sloane, Michael Luwoye, MaameYaa Boafo, Stony Blyden, and Jayne Atkinson. Coming from a famous Memphis family that’s known for taking on injustice, a brilliant lawyer named Sydney Strait (McGee) used to work at her father Elijah’s celebrated law firm until their tumultuous relationship got in the way. After barely speaking to Elijah (Smits) for years, Sydney is suddenly thrust back into the family fold when her philanthropist mother passes away unexpectedly. In the wake of the loss of his wife and in hopes of reconnecting with the daughter he loves, Elijah asks Sydney to rejoin his Civil Rights firm and take on a chemical company whose product may cause cancer. Despite her lingering resentment and distrust, she agrees because she knows that working alongside her father is her best hope at changing the world — as long as they can find a way to get along. No sooner has Sydney returned than she stumbles on a secret that Elijah has been keeping from her that may change everything.

I love Bluff City Law. I stopped watching the Good Doctor, to watch it. The actors are great and want to see a Season 2, please!!
Absolutely love Bluff City Law. Our entire family watched ever Monday night. I normally dont repeat watch, but am rewatching because. I missed so many little things in this diversified, Based relevant issues facing us across our nation. Can’t wait for Season Two.
Bluff City Law is the BEST show! NBC please continue the wonderful stories. Great actors & a really “Feel Good” legal show! We love it in our household!

I love this show. It is the best legal show that has been on TV in a long time. We hope it is renewed as we watched all of the episodes.
I really enjoy this show. It is actually my favorite show of last season. It’s different from other legal shows, by focusing on the effort of making things right/good. The publicity for this show is awful. If more people knew about it, it would get a higher rating.
This is a great series. Too bad NBC won’t give it a chance to succeed. I guess when you have good storylines, it becomes too controversial for the network. They would rather air stupid reality shows that are cheap to produce.
Please give this show a fighting chance. So very good!

Love all of them!!!
All were fairly healthy TV. Not so violent or creepy. Great weeknight viewing. And they are all cancelled. Yet another sign of the times. Shows that are so freaky and creepy keep getting renewed.
So agree, you left off mindless shows. Bluff City Law, a relevant show. Based on real law firm, that gave fair representation to both sides of legal issue, with family relationships on side, many we can relate to.
I like this show and do not want to see it canceled. Please listen to the voices of the viewers and renew Bluff City Law for another season.
