Bones is airing its final season, and the series finale will feature someone very special to one star on the series. Philly.com reported that David Boreanaz’s father will appear on the special episode.
Boreanaz revealed that detail about the FOX series at the TCA’s. Boreanaz’s dad is not the only family member that will appear on the episode.
Boreanaz said the following:
“It was great about my dad and my mom [Patti] that I was able to get them in the series finale. I was able to get them all in — I got my son in, I got my daughter in, and Jaime [his wife], so the whole family’s definitely going to be in.”
The actor had shared a photo of his parents on set on his Twitter account back in November. Check out that photo below.

Are you excited to see how the series finale of Bones wraps up the series? Tell us what you think.
I was truly devastated when I realized that this was the final Bones. I love this program, has been very unique and interesting with great characters & stories. I can’t believe that it’s over.!! I love ❤️ balance of this show & I’ve seen each season @ least 2-3 times. Why is it not renewing???? I’m truly saddened by this cancellation.
I am in panic. I live on a mountain in California. We have experienced power blackouts, cyber hacking, landline was out from December 2016 until yesterday. I missed the Episode 22 (last show of last season) and want to know how to see rerun on Direct TV or Channel 245 or Channel 4 San Francisco, CA. Did the TV Series finale of BONES already appear? It is unclear. Today is Thursday, and I have no ability to record TV Series. Our receiver is old, but works. I used to tape BONES to rewatch. I have followed David Boreanaz from Buffy,… Read more »
Would you identify which characters were David’s true-life family, maybe with pbotos & character name? son, daughter, father, mother, wife? Of interest would be an episode of each character developing their origins like Pops to David, Tempe’s father (Ryan) connected by flashback to when all her family were together before her brother and Tempe lost mom & dad.
