CSI: Cyber’s future on CBS is still up in the air, but fans of the series need to prepare for an end. Season two of the series will finish this Sunday. The series’ current timeslot on Sunday night will be taken over by Elementary on March 20.
CSI Files confirmed that the status of the series is still not known. CBS cut the season of the series down to just 18 episodes (the final season of CSI had the same number of installments. The finale is titled Legacy. It is clear that CSI franchise has a lot of history on CBS, but is the world of CSI coming to an end?
It is possible. This series could see its end, and there are no other CSI spin-offs in the works. The other long running CBS franchise, NCIS, was just renewed for two more seasons by the network.
Are you a fan of CSI: Cyber? Do you want a third season? Tell us what you think.
DO NO CANCEL!!!!!
Really CBS? Is nice to have a show that is not a reality show for a change and you cancel it?
This show for the 21 first . Because it deals with what is really now happening today on the Internet. I woulds like to see go for a third, fourth, etc. I am a fan please do not cancel it. !!!!!
This show is awesome please dont cancle
I LOVE THIS SHOW…IF YOU SAY IS “STILL NOT KNOWN”, WHY IS THE FINALE EPISODE GOING TO AIR TITLED LEGACY…THIS SHOW GIVES IMPORTANT FEED BACK ON HACKERS…AWARENESS…PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW
I will miss CSI Cyber just as I miss all of the past CSI Series
Oh, c’mon. Would the ‘powers that think they be’ really be considering cancelling this excellent program? Cyber opens our eyes to the possibilities and inherent dangers of our electronic devices, in this world of ours. Please, please do not even go down the cancellation road. Not everyone wants comic books come to life….some of us prefer to excercise (not exorcise) our brains when seated in front of the television set.
CSI programs make us think….don’t take that away ……
Another reason that “CSI: Cyber” could see its end is because Ted Danson has decided to leave the series after just one season. Danson has signed on for an NBC comedy pilot titled “Good Place” with Kristen Bell.
That news has got me speculating that Danson’s character in the “CSI” franchise, D.B. Russell, is going to retire.
Wow! Really? ? He’s leaving??? That really sucks!!
They could replace him and keep the show going. I certainly hope so.
I have loved all of the CSI shows and hated when New York and Vegas were cancelled. CSI Cyber is the newbie in the group and I like it. It tells me new ways people are being hacked. True, It is not as good as the others but I still like it a lot. Why make new shows just to cancel them after one season. Give it another season and it just mike pick up a lot. Please don’t cancel this series too.
CSI:Cyber is in simple terms a poor show. Poor lead actors, poor writing. No surprise the episode number was cut
So much better than all the fake reality shows on TV
It’s time for CSI: Cyber to end.
This is the only good CSI show in the entire franchise.
LOL… This was the worst of the CSI shows…. and I’m glad to see Ted Danson moving on from this.
I think it would be a grave mistake and CSI cyber there’s still more to tell on the subjects too many good shows are ending some of never been given an ending like forever or unforgettable and I myself have stopped watching certain TV stations because of this do not and CSI cyber it would be a grave mistake.
This CSI is the worst of all CSI series. We loved Miami and New York the most; Las Vegas was good until Peterson left; but the main actors in Cyber are terrible! Overrated for sure; the ‘lesser’ part actors actually carried the show. IMHO, good riddance to Cyber.
At what stage was the episode order cut?…Were other episodes recorded, or was this intended to be the finale (storyline-wise)?

(I think that you might’ve meant “unknown” in the second paragraph.)
They’re saying that they’re unsure they’re just waiting to see so yes unknown if there will be a season three
Thank you. Fixed that typo.
