It’s been nearly two years since the last episode of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. The cable channel has long maintained that, if Larry David wants to make another season of Curb, they’re ready. Still, the HBO comedy’s fate is still uncertain.
At the TCA Summer Press Tour, David was present to help promote his new movie, Clear History. The co-creator of Seinfeld plays a marketing executive who feuds with his boss and loses out on millions from an electric car company. The partially-improvised film premieres on August 10th on HBO.
David said, “I was thinking about doing Curb, or I was thinking about doing a movie… I thought it might be time to try something else.”
When asked if he’s decided about doing another season of Curb, David replied, “That’s not such a good question. I have not [decided]. I really don’t know. I couldn’t say. Ask me in six months.”
What do you think? Would you like to see another — perhaps a final — season of Curb Your Enthusiasm?
Yes, I will never get enough of Curb. It’s definitely an addiction. Larry David should just keep doing it as ideas come up, and I would think that modern life is a never-ending source of material. We’re still waiting, Larry. Pleeeeese.
A new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm would be most welcome. Those of us who don’t currently live in L.A. or NYC like to see what we miss and aa well as, “the horror, the horror.”
