It seems that the Dead to Me TV show isn’t long for this world. Netflix has announced that the show has been renewed for a third but final season.
A single-camera comedy series, Dead to Me revolves around a hotheaded realtor and widow, Jen (Christina Applegate), who searches for the hit-and-run driver who mowed down her husband. In a therapy group, she befriends an eccentric optimist named Judy (Linda Cardellini) who isn’t quite what she seems. Others in the cast include James Marsden, Max Jenkins, Sam McCarthy, and Luke Roessler.
The first two seasons had 10 episodes apiece and were released in May 2019 and May 2020, respectively.
In addition to the renewal, it was also revealed that Netflix has formed a multi-year partnership with Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman for the development of original series and other projects.

I REALLY have enjoyed this series. Christina Applegate was fantastic in this. I hate to see it end. I hope that she gets another series like this. It has the same quirky intrigue as Desperate Housewives. Christina is in her PRIME right now and these Networks better get a new series for someone as multi-talented as her!
I LOVE this show!! Well written, exciting, thrilling and funny. I can’t believe there will only be one more season. It’s way too good to end just yet.
I am so glad that we get to see another season and not having the rug pulled out from under us like other shows that abruptly end without conclusion. Great show.

I’m certainly not a prude but I found all the f bombs unnecessary.
I really like the show and will be sorry to see it go. These ladies work very well together. I have a hard time finding shows that interest me and this one really did!
Just wish it didn’t have to end. Will be interested to see where the story line goes.
