Is Sheriff Hollister up to the job in the first season of the Deputy TV show on FOX? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Deputy is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of Deputy here. *Status update below.
A FOX crime drama, Deputy was created by Will Beall and stars Stephen Dorff, Yara Martinez, Brian Van Holt, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Shane Paul McGhie, and Mark Moses. The show follows an ensemble of ambitious and complicated people who won’t rest until justice is served. The story begins when the elected Sheriff of LA County dies and an arcane rule in the county charter suddenly thrusts the most unlikely man into the job. A true “white hat”, Bill Hollister (Dorff) is a fifth-generation lawman and is only interested in justice. His close team includes Deputy Cade Ward (Van Holt), Deputy Brianna Bishop (Taylor-Klaus), and Deputy Joseph Harris (McGhie). Hollister frequently butts heads with Doctor Paula Reyes (Martinez), chief trauma surgeon of LA County General Hospital and also, Hollister’s wife.

My husband and I both enjoy Deputy. Looking forward to a season 2. As with other shows we’ve loved in the past (24, and Everybody Loves Raymond) it’s been slow to be discovered by people who will become an energetic fan base-please give Deputy time!

Absolutely the best new addition in years. All of the cast are wonderful in their rolls. I can see this drama going well into season 10 or longer……first time I’ve looked forward to a show since 9-1-1 premiered.. I hope for a second season.

This is a terrific show with viable and likable actors and story lines. The politics are true-to-form and believable I’m sad to say. Fast moving and leaves you wanting more. I hope this comes out on top – such a great show!! I’m so sick of the crap that’s on TV now – this is refreshing!!
I Love this show !!! I really hope that the show Deputy runs for a long time. It has been a while since there has been a show that I have enjoyed this much.
I am really enjoying this show and would be upset if it is cancelled. It has good storylines about things that are actually happening today.

I can’t believe a woman who professes to be a doctor states she knows biology then goes on to say “there are more than two sexes”. There are not. there are X and Y chromosomes, beyond that there ar people who identify but declaring there are more than two sexes is a bold lie by the script writers.

Hire a camera person to hold the d*mn camera steady!!!! My 6 year old can film better with his gopro!!! Love Dorff but this show is ridiculous. Canceled future recordings.

I never watch TV anymore but decided to check out the series, Deputy, and I am hooked. Love Stephen Dorff. Love “Deputy”.
I tried to watch Deputy again for the second time. Twenty minutes into the episode, I had to change the channel, it was to painful to watch!
There are simply not enough words in the English or Spanish language to describe how BAD Deputy is. There must be some serious power players backing this show, bc it has no business getting air time, it is that bad! Don’t waste your time; watch Prodigal Son, Black List or SEAL Team. I removed it from my DVR schedule.
