After one season, Sela Ward opted to leave the FBI TV series and was replaced by Alana De La Garza (who had been set to star on CBS’ upcoming spin-off, FBI: Most Wanted). Could this casting change help or hinder the ratings for season two? Will FBI be cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned. *Status Update Below.
Airing on CBS, the FBI TV show stars Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Ebonée Noel, Jeremy Sisto, and Alana De La Garza. This series follows an elite team of experts who work at the New York City office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The first-class agents work to ensure the safety of all United States citizens and tenaciously investigate cases of tremendous magnitude, including terrorism, organized crime and counterintelligence. The team members include committed Special Agent Maggie Bell (Peregrym); her partner, Special Agent Omar Adom ‘OA’ Zidan (Zaki); master motivator Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine (Sisto); brilliant analyst Kristen Chazal (Noel); and Assistant Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castile (de la Garza).
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

What do you think? Do you like the FBI TV series on CBS? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a third season?
*5/6/20 update: FBI has been renewed for a third season.
Should be renewed FBi
FBI is amazing! Should be renewed for 10 more seasons!!
Come on..the best show on cbs is FBI..I dont want to see that new one..I like Maggie and OA.. what is wrong with these people?
They mess up NCIS losing ziva n tony..Now this?
Great show! I hope it is renewed for season 3 and beyond.
the most annoying and unlikeable cast I ever have seen. who write this thing?
Show is disrespectful to real FBI women. Maggie wears regular street cloths and that’s not proper attire for an FBI agent. Why is it she dressed in this fashion. And how do I know this. I grew up living next door to an FBI agent.
That and there’s no mystery to the show. I can figure the show out before its half over.
All in all poor quality show all round. Just sayin
Terrible acting. Horrendous cast!
I love FBI!
I like the FBI show and hope it makes it to season three. Good story lines.
The FBI show is fast paced with great stories and acting. OA and Maggie are the best partners they work well together. Jubal and the rest of the team are fantastic.
Last episode really sold me. I just love the addition of Alana De La Garza to the cast. I was worried after Selena’s exit but De La Garza adds a great dynamic to the show.
I literally watch this show now because of Alana. She’s great.
Love this show. Hope it runs for a long time
Absolutely love the new girl. I wasn’t sure how this would work out after Sela’s exit but it really came together nicely. Great job CBS!
The individual cast to play the new SAC portrays an attitude of purposeful opposition to investigative theories. So much so that she makes the real SAC’s who support real investigations to be fickle and ignorant.
I really liked the season 1 of FBI. Season 2 is not the same without Sela Ward. I wish Dick Wolf would bring Sela Ward back as the Special Agent In Charge. Sela brought so much to the character she played and the chemistry between the actor is not there without her. I really believe that if Dick Wolf brought back Sela Ward to FBI, there would be higher ratings and many more seasons. It is very sad to watch season 2 without Sela.
Show has a totally different feel with new characters and no explanation of the new characters. Not as entertaining
Really miss Sella Ward. Not the same with be replacement. WHY DID SELLA LEAVE SERIES? I hope FBI IS RENEWED for season 3.
