After one season, Sela Ward opted to leave the FBI TV series and was replaced by Alana De La Garza (who had been set to star on CBS’ upcoming spin-off, FBI: Most Wanted). Could this casting change help or hinder the ratings for season two? Will FBI be cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned. *Status Update Below.
Airing on CBS, the FBI TV show stars Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Ebonée Noel, Jeremy Sisto, and Alana De La Garza. This series follows an elite team of experts who work at the New York City office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The first-class agents work to ensure the safety of all United States citizens and tenaciously investigate cases of tremendous magnitude, including terrorism, organized crime and counterintelligence. The team members include committed Special Agent Maggie Bell (Peregrym); her partner, Special Agent Omar Adom ‘OA’ Zidan (Zaki); master motivator Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine (Sisto); brilliant analyst Kristen Chazal (Noel); and Assistant Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castile (de la Garza).
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
4/1 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.

For comparisons: The first season of FBI on CBS averaged a 0.97 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 9.08 million viewers.
Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the FBI TV series on CBS? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a third season?
*5/6/20 update: FBI has been renewed for a third season.
I like FBI it is one of my favorite shows and I really like Missy Peregrym please do not cancelled.
Renew, I love this show. However, my favorite agent left this year. I hope she decides to come back after her real life maternity leave.
I enjoy this show and watch for it every week. But I don’t like the FBI Most Wanted plots or the cast as much.
FBI is one of my favorite show, please do not cancel
I hope fbi is not being cancelled
Cast is fabulous and the plots interesting; please do not cancel
Excellent program. Look forward to seeing it each week.
One of the best shows ever. Please lets jeep this show going. Great cast of awesome stars and live each episode.
I enjoy FBI and would like to see it renewed. It’s a nice balance of work issues and real life personal issues.
FBI is a good series and hopefully it will be renewed. FBI Most Wanted is probably a good series also, but unfortunately it is on at the same time as my favorite show “New Amsterdam”, so I don’t get to see it.
Great show, good chemistry in cast!
The script/plot is good , unfortunately it is not possible to hear the characters talking because the background music is TOO LOUD to hear the characters talking. If you turn down the level of background music you might see an increase in actual viewers.
Sela Ward role/personality/chemistry with the initial FBI cast is best suited
Unless there were challenges working together as a whole of the cast and staff it would be great if she returned and I believe the ratings would increase quite a bit – just my opinion
Thank you
This is one of the best shows out there! Why I pay for CBS Access!
With all the good shows being canceled this should not be one of them. The networks should keep good shows
