Is Ghost Hunters ending? Yesterday, star Jason Hawes confirmed the series will leave Syfy at the end of season 11.
Ghost Hunters follows Hawes and Grant Wilson, two paranormal investigators who explore allegedly haunted locations. The unscripted series premiered on Syfy in 2004.
On his Facebook, Hawes said Ghost Hunters was choosing to end their relationship with the network. The reasons why remain unclear:
It doesn’t sound like the series is cancelled however. Hawes hinted at “huge things in the works.” Season 11 of Ghost Hunters is expected to premiere this fall on Syfy.
What do you think? Do you watch Ghost Hunters? Are you sad it’s leaving Syfy?
Dear Ghost Hunters-My favorite show–Next is Lt. Kenda-Want to see you folks
again. You know how to hunt for spirits for real not like any of the other paranormal shows.
I think it’s been a good run for them but the show is old and tired. I lost interest in the show when they quit doing personal home investigations and the churn of “investigators” picked up in pace.
Please don’t leave. Your work is very important to people like me who live everyday with paranormal activity.
Will miss Ghost Hunters, hope it will show up on another network.
You guys seemed so truthful and real—not like others I’ve seen.
I Hope the show is picked up on another channel , I love it.
I loved your show .i really miss all of you
Missing Ghost Hunters. I hope the show will be back on the air soon. I respect the way they approach and handle investigations and am looking forward to their show coming back. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!!!
Miss watching the true Ghost Hunters. You guys were always honest and never overly dramatic as other ghost shows are. I hope to see you even if it’s just special shows instead of weekly. Hope you all are doing well.
Hey guys I know you need a break and I am sure a better contract. Who knew you guys would become so famous, but understand we love you guys and the show is the best than all the rest. These other guys are imitations. Please come back to an even better cable channel. Not everyone has Sci-fi anyway and you are truly believeable the way you present your show. Your audience awaits!
I have been searching for information on upcoming episodes of Ghost Hunters and ran across this site. After reading these comments about how much your loyal fans love you and are hoping for your return, it seems that any intelligent Station would do well to pick you up. Ghost Hunter’s has such a large, faithful, well established fan base that Networks should be doing some serious marketing to get GH on their menu. I also do not watch Syfy now that they don’t carry GH but will faithfully watch whatever channel picks them up. The GH crew is very intelligent,… Read more »
I can only hope this is just a temporary set back with a certain network. Hey I understand we all get older and must move on with our lives, I am sorry for the younger generation who did not have this type of education, as that is how I have seen the world of the paranormal, rather, began to understand it through the work of the Ghost Hunter teams. Lets keep in mind about 100 years ago…we could’nt fly!!!
I am very sad to see them go. I never miss it and I have all the tapes. You will be missed, Good luck and may God Bless All Of You.
I’m James I’ve watched every episode of ghost hunters I love the show and hate to see it cancelled I’ve seen things in my life I can’t explain I’m even working on putting my own equipment and crew together hope you guys come back soon a real inspiration for the paranormal world
I find this show interesting. I am always open to possible information on this subject. Living in a State with so much history I feel there must be something left after we leave this earth whether that be some type of energy or “spirits” I can’t help but question the possibility of “beings”. I hope the show will continue.
Hopefully GH will show up on some other channel. I’ve watched it since the beginning as have so many, many other fans. The cast is like family to everyone, you know? Keeping my fingers crossed it will be back!! 🙂
