Do viewers have faith in the first season of the God Friended Me TV show on CBS? As we know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like God Friended Me is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because of that, many viewers are frustrated their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered before a show is cancelled or renewed. So, we invite you to rate all of the season one episodes of God Friended Me below.
A drama series airing on CBS, God Friended Me stars Brandon Micheal Hall, Violett Beane, Suraj Sharma, Javicia Leslie, and Joe Morton. Set in New York City, the series revolves around a thoughtful and outspoken podcaster named Miles(Hall). Miles is an atheist and that puts him at odds with his reverend father (Morton). Miles’ life is turned upside down when he receives a friend request on social media from a user named “God”. He eventually accepts and starts digging into his new friend’s account, convinced it’s a hoax. He partners with journalist Cara Bloom (Beane) and gets additional aide from his sister Ali (Leslie) and his hacker pal Rakesh (Sharma). Miles is convinced that the “God” account is an elaborate hoax and is devoted to uncovering the truth. In the meantime, he’s playing along and, in the process, seeing his life changed forever.

1/29/19 update: CBS has renewed the God Friended Me TV show for a second season.
Its been said previously but WOW! This makes me feel good and with some hope for ranting rattle trap of a world in which we live. Technology is awesome but adds to the depravity of an already cruel and seemingly Godless world. I’d rate this an 11 as in Heaven 🙂

I don’t watch comedy shows often, but love this show. It refreshing, I love the thought of **GOD**texting anyone. Even though he says he’s an atheist, he questions, trying to prove it’s not **GOD**. His background keeps getting in the way. Great Wholesome Show. I can’t stand all the garbage in most of the show’s today. FAMILY SHOWS IS WHAT WE NEED MORE OF.
My wife and have watched every episode. We set that hour aside to watch this program and spend time together. We love the show how it twists and turns and links people to people. PLEASE RENEW FOR MANY SEASONS TO COME.

They should continue this awesome show. There have been a lot of great shows, such as Kevin, probably,saves the world. They keep cancelling the really good shows and keeping dark shows on. I will say there are some good shows on but the Christian ones keep being taken off. I really, really enjoy these shows.
This is a wonderful uplifting feel good show. It tackles tough subjects in a positive way. I love it.

This is an incredible show, I was hooked from 1st episode! It invites us to explore spirituality without hitting us over the head and the story lines are entertaining. The acting is great also.

All of the episodes are 11 out of 10. I am not a soft hearted person but every episode bought tears of happiness to me. I’m 63, youth was a bit wild, done a little bit of time. I’ve changed. These are the sort of shows we should be showing all ages today. I’m sick and tired of 6 seconds into a movie of shoot em up stab bash kick the **** out of em car chase crap. Love this show! One of the best of this season.
I am a 52 yr old single divorced mother of two young children who are adopted ages 7 and 9. This is the ONE and ONLY show my children and I watch. We look forward to it and talk about the many life lessons. Personally I wish they’d do a story on how to handle anger for a cheating ex husband who never apologized. It’s easy to forgive when a person asks for it, but horrible when they have 0 remorse. My kids and I, because of this show, give out “When God Winks” books by Squire Rushnell to people… Read more »
I so agree that “God Friended Me” is the best new show on CBS! I love the acting, the podcast, the thoughtful-provoking and emotional storylines and most of all the journey of an athiest to accept that faith in God is not in vain! (Of course, after I post this, nonbelievers will discredit me and probably try to get this show removed smh.) I’m a weekly viewer and want to see it continue for season 2! Who’s with me?
